Maybe he couldn't. We don't know. They are college age. He could be away from his family and friends. He had money for his food, and that's all he should've had to pay. They are her friends, so she took it on herself. Ya'll blaming him instead of the ones who ran it on the bill.

Seeing that he only brought 40 pretty sure the "friends" probably told him they would all pay then stuck him with the bill. Yea if a girl says she is going to go dutch then is a b*tch and tried to get me to pay for the entire thing it's not cool and i'm just gonna give the tab to the hoe. It's not about if I can or can't pay I'm not gonna let some girl trick me into paying so she can run off and do whatever. Wanna talk about "oh the guy should impress" Yea right. From the story it seems like he just lets op to handle the entire situation completely by herself and he is just sitting there like a deer in headlights
