Love the vid. All these cata videos im seeing makes me want lvl up. Had a great time and met a lot of good friends back in those days. Can't trade slowfall when he casts dark sim? I remember in cata doing that.

The explanation is good and goes over subtle things high rated mages would understand. More of these vs every class that are really good at their classes of course.

Addons, either SpellActivationOverlay or WeakAuras.

I feel like that crit was RNG because the DMG didn't seem mastery boosted but who knows lol

Aeghis please I need a reply on this 😅. I want to learn to play mage(Frost and Fire) in PvP and I am wondering if it is easier to learn and be good at PvP as a mage in Retail OR in Cataclysm. I mean where is the PvP ceiling higher. I mainly play 2v2 arenas (not 3v3) and battlegrounds

It's purely preference. Retail is way faster (GCD wise) and has more buttons so I would say skill ceiling is higher there. Cata is a bit slower but not actually slow by any means. Haste levels are just low but every GCD matters. Fire mage is bis in cata and all 3 are bis on retail

he right about all this. But this the easy answer, use both blocks and keep distance as much as possible and its kinda auto win if you time the blocks right.

When he use his green def akill ,why not just invisible ? U have 2 shield to tank the dots so they wont remove your invisibility. His dots do little dmg

If he gets hit its cancelled, the ghoul or a simple death coil, chains will cancel the effect

I always invis nova veins on use orb into cs do a shatter then pet nova deep lance lance cause 90% of the time he will IBF its a lot of different ways u can play it

For some reason for about 10 years I found it very easy to beat deathknights as Fire idk why I just can't do anything as frost or arcane I guess it's because Fire is what I spent most of the time practicing and learning on so I have this perfect playstyle for it unlike frost and arcane

yeah probably but he didnt play Wrath and otheranother was the best in wrath.

I feel like if he used zone early after you blocked soon as he saw you de block that would of gone differently along with garg pressure yep I'm right his second duel goes similar minus zone to soak the trade damage

Your damage gives dk runic power btw when he’s in ams. So idk in cata but in wrath duels as soon as dk was using ams we were stoping all pet/mirror damage on him so he can starve of runes .

That gcd tracker is legit cheating lol
