Joakim and the entire team at Polestar deserve immense praise! Their work on the P2 never fails to make me smile whenever I drive it. Excited to test out the P3 and P4 soon, and judging by this video, disappointment doesn’t seem likely.

I met Joakim at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2023 - he is a lovely guy and is a great ambassador for Polestar. The Polestar cars are a testament to his (and his team) skills and knowledge. Can't wait to see the Polestar 3 & 4 here in the UK on the roads.

Joakim is an absolute star. We met him on a Polestar customer day last Autumn and he and his colleagues were amazing! He gave us a wonderful presentation at their Gothenburg test track about shocks and springs - he's a remarkable guy from a remarkable team. We then got to go out on the track in a Polestar 3, 4 and prototype 5 😲

That seems like a lot of fun Kris, thanks! I think Thomas I. should invite us early adopters to one of those sessions as well 😎

Great video Kris, and what an awesome machine the P3 will be. Looked like a lot of fun. If I won Lotto I had be upgrading my MY24 LRSM even though I love. P3 really should be compared to the German giants. Well done.

Very nice video Kris. Since there were also Polestar 4 cars over there, did you get an opportunity to drive one? I suppose there is an embargo fort any publication or video. If so until when ?

Great video Kris! I got to experience the Polestar 3 and 4 at Polestar Day in Santa Monica last year. Would you say the driving dynamics of the 3 are on par with or better than the Polestar 2?

When will they start delivery of this model? It is already massive delayed together with the sister car Volvo EX90. And when it is finally delivered, how will the quality be? This delay must be a major part of the Polestar cash flow problems.

It just started production and their estimates are that the first ones will get to customers in April and beyond. But keep in mind, there's probably quite a large backorder-list they have to get through before getting to someone who orders today, that's why it says estimated delivery in like October here in Sweden if you order one today. Gotta get through all the pre-orders. And this is with only the one factory in China, the US factory goes live later, in the summer. That's when the volumes will go up for real. Yeah this massive delay of the Polestar 3 has hurt Polestar a lot.

@@tobias_dahlberg I wonder what state the first cars delivered are though. Have they solved all issues. I looked at this car at the eCar expo in Gothenburg about a year ago. Looks quite good. But I fear the first owners will be test drivers for Polestar. Atleast hope they will work better than the Zeekr Elbilsmagasinet drove a while ago. A model I also belive is from the same chassi?

@@chaweng155 No no, not the same platform. The Polestar 4 is on that same platform. The Volvo EX90 and Polestar 3 are on a completely bespoke platform only for those cars (as of today) that Volvo themselves developed ground up. It'll for sure be interesting to see how it is, but it is in no way connected to the other platform, these are completely different. This is the SPA2-platform, not the SEA-platform.

Can somebody please explain why the rear-window defroster doesn't work in these cars, and why the snow wasn't scraped off the back window if the defroster doesn't work? In this video, with the camera facing the speakers and the rear of the car, it would have been nice to have seen what's out the rear window as the car is being driven.

Rear defroster wasn’t on. And the rear window was clear of ice and snow before we started. But that accumulates pretty fast when drifting on snow. Simple as that

Ones things for sure polestar need to up the defrosting on the rear window , seriously though please polestar please please offer a lighter roof lining option to light gray or light beige especially with lighter seat trims , it just makes the car feel claustrophobic

Please, show more time the Car...not you...if it possible and you want. Your Videos and all ar verry Good, just think over this. GOOD LUCK KRIS !

I'll just go out and buy another 4000 Euro camera setup, travel back in time to last week ask for an extra day of filming that is dedicated to other press and film more B-Roll and alternative A-Roll because you don't want to see my face on my channel. While I am at it, is there any other magic you want me to perform with my unlimited time and budget? Perhaps you'd like me to pay you to watch me? Like free content isn't good enough? 😅🤣

Another EV that demands top dollar that wanted to save very little by not incorporating a roof shade for that enormous panoramic roof. Great for Icetown but useless for places that have a hot sun.
