the amount of open sky you can see in Kansas is crazy, no forests, large trees, hills, mountains, just flatness in all directions/ it's kind of creepy now I understand why tornadoes thrive there

If you think Kansas is flat go to Florida lol

Midwest in general has my respect for that. I worked in southern Louisiana for a while - sunsets are always unmatched with the open sky

@@_leena3825 Grew up in Florida and never encountered plain flat land. Usually trees are all around if it’s flat. Where I live it’s hills and trees all over.
Lisa: the breakfast was top tier. Good muffin, delicious bacon, solid coffee, and fresh fruit. Best breakfast so far! Also Lisa: I rate it a 3/10

i mean yea its good but its not overwhelmingly good like you want to eat it again its decent and a nice breakfast
Hey Lisa! As someone who grew up eating (and seeing others make this) it's not the herb that makes raw laab bitter, it's the bile that is added to give extra flavor. It is said that the more bitter it is, the better the laab tastes and it is true as it's an acquired taste to enjoy raw laab and a delicacy. Thank you so much for bringing this dish to light as it does have a bad reputation for the bitterness and rawness of this dish!

Woah Woah Woah, I feel like she's doing a racist stereotype
This was so entertaining to watch Lisa!!! I’m originally from Kansas and you’ve convinced me that I need to take a more scenic drive one of these days. I’ve usually only just tried to make it the shortest trips possible whether it was LA or Dallas. Please make more of these and try to convince a friend to come with for twice as fun! ❤️
Thank you for documenting this fun journey with us Lisa! Sending love from Kansas!
I'm a trucker that drives that route all the time, thanks for showing some new food options.
This was so entertaining. Going to need more of these road trip compilations!
Watching your videos helps me feel a little less depressed thank you
Even I already watched all of these, still combining them all together give a different vibe, I like it , well done Lisa.
Bravo! More compilations please! It was great to just lay here cozy without having to flip to the next leg of the trip
This was definitely one of your best so far. Thanks for taking us along.
Listening you talk makes me feel like you are such a good person Lisa I wish all good things for you loved how you documented it so beautifully
“These waffles were better than what I can put together most mornings” “I’ll rate it a 3.5/10” Lisa, how bad do ur waffles get? 😃

Thank God you had a safe trip Lisa❤️🙏🏽 This is amazing content
That was an awesome adventure, thank you for taking me along.
wow Lisa i enjoyed this trip so much because i have driven these routes myself and this was in the 90's brings back memories
Hi Lisa! Just wanted to say you make my day every time you post and I appreciate you! Keep up the great work
this video radiates good vibes and comfort, thank you so much for posting this! this video gives me inspiration to travel alone and visit tourist spots! ❤️
Wow thank you so much for documenting & showing us your journey from Kansas to LA! What an amazing road trip it was. I loved seeing all the yummy food you got to try. Someday I hope to take a road trip like this and stop at various locations and just take in the journey like you did. Looked so relaxing and fun! Sending you love from Los Angeles!!
Thank you for your wholesome content, Lisa. Sometimes I debate if I want to make a food-related content on you, but with the pressures of KZread to go to brand events, have brand deals, and make and flaunt lots of money pushes me to want to start otherwise. But seeing your content is very inspiring and very relatable. Please keep up the good work:
The bitterness doesn’t come from a plant. It’s actually bile that’s added to it. For some places, that is a standard ingredient. I think it’s used as a method to preserve the freshness of the meat. I could be wrong but most places don’t serve it raw or with bitterness.
Lisa, You did a great job keeping me on the edge of my seat. Outstanding narration and videography! Thank you for sharing.
I liked these videos a lot and I'm glad you put all of them together. It felt like I was watching a chill food/tourism documentory !
Lisa never fails to hit the mark with every vid and this was no exception. Can't wait to see your next road trip/ travelling food journey vlog 🔥
Always amazing content! Love your channel and narrations through all of your journeys! You make mot of the the intricate details and that is what makes me feel like I’m a part of your journey with you! Thank you for that! Safe travels!
The only thing I can focus on in the breakfast segments as a European is how every last little thing is put into some kind of plastic packaging, pretty wild.
This was awesome Lisa!! Hung on to every second while doing my own workout at the gym! Super hungry now! So impressed by the self heating bowl!!
as a kansan who doesn't get to travel a lot, your videos make me happy to see one of us going past the wizard of oz lands! safe trips and thank you for the amazing content :)
Love journery + narration and welcome to SoCal!
Fun, fun!!! Enjoyed watching this trip
I grew up in south wyoming and it’s really cool to see it highlighted and praised throughout this video! we don’t get much attention and when we do it’s typically about how boring it is, so it made me really happy seeing you point out all the things you liked about driving across!

Im from Kansas and the first time I went to Wyoming I thought it had the most gorgeous scenery

I stayed in Rock River, WY last summer, and the scenery was easily the most beautiful I’ve ever seen in my life. I live in the mountains-ish where you can never see much of the sky, and I miss the huge open sky in Wyoming so bad. I hope to be back soon.
Listening to you is so soothing. Thank you.
This was such a good video really hope you continue this style!
Love your adventures in food!
Wow, crazy! My Mom was born and raised in Wakeeney KS. She always told us it was named Wakeeney because "you could walk aaaanywere you needed to go." 🤣 She is 83, so it has definitely grown a lot since then!
All this food on the road trip looks soooooo good LET ME HAVE IT 🤤
Aww that was nice that you did all of that to see your niece and still make a video for us
I love these compilation videos ❤️😍🙌🏾
Gorgeous sights and food
I used to live near Denver, and when ever I go there I have so much nostalgia
Hey! Loved the video. I realized that these type of longer videos don't do that well in the views aspect but I just wanted to say that to me these are way more enjoyable. It's gratifying seeing the timeline in a long video format.
We are all entitled for any kind of vlog preferences but this one was so good a have to left some for later, its just that food is such an interesting topic , hope its safe to travel like that around a big country, keep it up lisa
if you can please do more of these i love watching the food and seeing all the spots . thanks for sharing your journey
I followed this while you were doing it. So fun!
Excited for the video
It’s fun going places like this and also eating and trying all the good food.
I'm from Hutchison, really appreciate what you do ❤️
Awesome!! Thanks for sharing
wow great recommendations!
This looks like a lot of fun!
Hey Lisa this looks really good
the longer vids are so cool 🙏🏽
i took some dance pictures at the salt flats during fall a couple years ago and even though it was freezing being out so early in the morning, the pictures turned out beautiful
Lisa this is just a recommendation for ur next road trip. U should try sri lankan food like Kota, steam hoppers, fried rice and even rice with curry. It's a comfort food for us here. Love from sri lanka 💖💖🇱🇰🇱🇰
Hey Lisa! I have a recommendation for you. Next time you stop by Denver, try going to the zoo or the aquarium! They are amazing places to visit while your there! I’ve been to the zoo and aquarium many times and it never gets old!
Yes!!! Queen Sheba is so good!
You have the best adventures 💜
I was watching these the other day and was just thinking how it would be great to make a compilation
This is a dope adventure
Your awesome... you do what i like doing and your great at narrating...i wish i knew you
Title: Everything I ate in Kansas Thumbnail: strawberries, veggies, CAT!?! Me: 🤣🤣🤣
this was so fun☺️
This is the first video in KZread to have my country in it 🇰🇭🇰🇭
Oh man, this video made me miss Wyoming so bad. I stayed there last summer (in and it was the best month of my life. I stayed in Rock River, which it looks like you just missed driving through.
LISAAAA you gotta try the cinnamon toast crunch cake they have now. you can find the mix and icing at any major grocery store, I think. immediately became my favorite cake 😩
I still can’t believe I didn’t get to meet you when you were in sac! I went to Ethiopian restaurant that day did but I think I just missed you!
Omg I was so surprised when you said Hole in the wake gang camp bc I am going to hat camp July 6th ahhhh
youre really brave for doing this solo
Hey Lisa adding half a cup of water and letting it simmer with the mixture would have probably solved the problem.
The seeds in the bread are pumpkin seeds, they're really good toqsted and salted. We eat them as a snack here in Palestine.
I went to the same peony seafood restaurant a week ago! It’s second floor the China town plaza!
I love your voice lisa 😍 , hugs from Mozambique
This reminds me of trips I take with my parents except we don’t stop unless we need gas ⛽️ or restroom 72 hours later we at our destination
If you ever come back to Sacramento i recommend trying Some of the spots in Downtown Sacramento, and Old Sacramento, My boyfriend and i love Sauced BBQ & Spirits In Downtown Sacramento. They have some flavorful bbq sauces at the tables to try with your meal. If you ever try it out let me know. 🥰💕 Love your videos!! Can't wait to see more!!
Lisa being a cultured woman without even trying and by coincidence. The momos are eaten by hands in a regular Nepali house and the rice and parathas are also eaten by rice( we eat with utensils outside of our house)
I was hoping you went to the Lumpia Co in Oakland. The dim sum looked awesome.
Watch the individual videos but this compilation is a nice treat. That lane looks similar to one in one of Kyle’s videos. Those wings and those fruits 🍎🍓🍒🍍looks sooo 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
I think the seeds that you had in your bread weren’t sunflower seeds, those are pumpkin seeds.
I love ur vedieos lisa!!!

U should do more of these vid's it's so cool / interesting
Hi, Lisa! I saw that green seeds & it looks like pumpkin seeds to me.
Omggg so much fun, I would love to do something like this but I have like no friends lol
i started drooling when you brought that indian/napaleese food in your video
With Indian food you don't need utensils lol. We use.our hands to eat . Thanks for doing this video. It's nice to see the difference of foods in each state.
The fact you went to woodys. Literally 2 blocks from where I lived. I would’ve freaked if I seen you there.
I remember going to the castle rock badlands as a little kid! I remember it well even though I must have been around 4-5 because it was the first time I had to pee outside 😳
hotel food hits differentbroo
If you come back up to the Golden state and are in Sacramento, check out Oscar Very Mexican Food on Freeport. They have big burritos that are so stuff and the most popular one is the California Burrito.
I am addicted to her voice..
09:54 Lisa: eh it was good *adds salsa* boom delicious
Next time you're in Denver hit me up!! I'd love to show you some of the best local places.
Wow I have driven from Los Angeles to garden city Kansas it was a long 19hr trip with a few stops
Oh my god! I’ve had that ramen at the start of the video! My family calls it face ramen.😆🤣😂
“It was a bit bland so I added some salt from the ground, jk it was perfect lol😂
Herbs don’t cause bitterness in Laab! It’s beef bile that does! :))
I
Those big seeds in the golden praire bread are pumpkin seeds.
