For those who don't know, it's best to never use pure black or pure white save for like the deepest of shadows or the brightest of highlights. In oil painting, we were taught to always mix these two colors with something else. I did a painting of a black kimono and red and pink flowers, so I mixed in a deep red. Still looked black, but had a nice red hue to it if you noticed. In markers, it's best to use various shades of gray for blacks and don't use black at all. Same with white. You want to use one color and the palest of that color you have to give the impression of white. If done well, even a cream and lavender color pallet will make a nice white dress. My advice is to look up a few tutorials and play around till you find something you like. : )

I love twisted wonderland's character designs, and when I saw they were Yana Toboso's it made a lot of sense, because I really like her designs. All your drawings turned out super cute ❤❤❤

I used to watch minori's vdos alot when I was 8-10 but back then I didn't know much English and I knew nothing about anime but I loved to draw I loved her drawings....now I'm 15...I suddenly came across her channel and...truly she is the reason I started to draw anime characters I also learned English from her vdos

What I like most about you is how you're unafraid to use all your art materials. A lot of people get caught up in "quality" and won't mix a cheaper material with expensive and vise versa. But the truth is if the result looks good that's all that matters and you can never know until you try. Great work as always your videos make me happy to see.

Me too! It looks just like her and I don’t know if anyone noticed this but she drew her with one hand holding the blade normally and in the other holding it backwards like the blade points in front of you like levi does it thats what makes him able to do the skinny thing

Prisma Color colored pencils aren't what they used to be the core is not always on center and they don't sharpen well... if you ask me Faber Castell color pencil these are very smooth oil based pencils that will blend very well

what paper do you use for these markers? Cause you put in a lot of layers to draw the eye and i did not tear so i was kinda of curious what paper you are using

I appreciate you Minori for speaking English than just reading subtitles and looking at the drawing at the same time. if those drawing is rendered using colored pencils that would take more than a week for all drawings.

Hi! I’ve been watching your videos and I love your art! As you were drawing I notice that you used a small device to clean up the eraser shavings. Where do I get one? I’m always having an issue of my desk being COVERED in eraser shavings😅.

I love this channel! What pen did you use for the pink outline on Mikasa? That drawing was impressive AF, I like how you made the Omni-Gear proportional and have proper perspective freehanded, it’s so good

This is me trying to add some notes. For the colouring, what Minori said was great but there is a drawback. You need to be careful because you dont want to mix all three primary colour or secondary with another primary colour. It will make the colour muddy and brownish. Hence giving the picture a muted and dark visual to it. Also the colour's temperature can also make it muddy. Let's say you want a bright purple, you need to mix Cyan (a primary/cool blue) with Magenta (a primary/cool red), this will give a nice bright purple. If you mix Red (tends to be warm/secondary colour) with Cyan, it will give a dark and muted purple. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. 💖

Actually, I do professional color pencil drawing and a way cheaper option than prisma colors would be faber castell color pencils, they are way easier to work with.

Prismacolor premier soft core are great color pencils don’t forget to look for soft core that part is important they can be prismacolor but if they are not soft core they won’t be as smooth and blendable
