My husband had a major heart attack six days ago...his 3rd. For the first few days I have stared into space numb and unable to process it. YVONNE, BEING ABLE TO JUST SIT AND LOOK AT YOUR VIDEOS WHILE HE SLEEPS BRINGS ME SUCH PEACE AND NORMALCY. I feel calmer and slowly able to let go of my fear. ​@@lisajoyaslaniswell yes, we are. I'm a mother of 4 and my first two babies where rather big and heavy, the hospital staff was worried, especially the first time. If the baby is to big, it can get stuck or it's necessary to break the collar bone to get it out, if it's possible to get it naturally. A big foal, kitten, puppy etc can be dangerous for the mother too

@@judithsnook1139 Coralle is around the same height as Reintje, she is not small by any means. Friesians are middleweights and so are warmbloods, they are equipped for it since they are the same weight class and not to mention, a lot of compatibility tests have to be done for it for the safety of both the foal and the mare. Warmblood mares have a wider pelvis which makes the birthing process easier and not to mention the amniotic fluid accumulation which makes the sac more layered and as a result provides the purpose of cushioning the foal from any external damage. Belle wasn't really that big, what you saw was the angle making her look bigger as well as the amniotic fluid making Coralle look smaller, there are photos where she's very tiny. I think an example is Waloubet, the grey haired Belgian Warmblood, she was around the same height as Uniek but still she had a very big abdomen for her own foals.

Spidey came into this world a surprise, and keeps surprising. I can't think of any animal let alone a horse he hasn't wanted to befriend. Seeing him with Risey is so sweet. It seems Blomke's a real cuddle bug. 🐎😊

How very true. I was with my sweet, gentle mare and her new foal when a stable cat jumped into the stall. In a heartbeat dear Baska reared and tried to kill him. I managed to grab part of the cat (a leg I think) and yanked him away before the front hooves landed on him. Cat never forgave me, but he lived, and I learned a valuable lesson on how fast a mare can move when defending her baby. Stay safe, Yvonne ❤

Yvonne, I LOVE how Saly is okay with you touching sweet lil Blomke, but if any of the mares look at her, she gets angry!! That's a special level of trust and it shows how much Saly loves you! 🙂 Spidey and Risey are just too cute for words!! 🙂

I can't believe that Skiddles is 22 years old she doesn't look or act like it. I loved seeing Spidey run over to Risey & greet him, those 2 are becoming good friends. 💕

Saly telling her neighbours to go away and then being perfectly friendly to Yvonne just reminds me of the time with I think it was Uniek and a still fairly small Risey where she got mad for just a moment when Yvonne opened her stall door and then the moment she realised it was Yvonne she relaxed completely! Seeing sweet Saly asking for scratches is beautiful and funny because she sees Blomke getting them and is like "oh yes me too" 😂

Can we just discuss Blomke's curly, beautiful coat?!! I absolutely love that all the baby Friesians are born that way!! So glad Saly is such a fantastic mama and Blomkes birth was text book perfect. And baby Belle Uniek is on the way. Coralla did an excellent job and Belles birth went smoothly also. Spidey and Risey have the best friendship and all the little ponies are adorable. I am sorry about lil Glendy. Hopefully time will help mend her shoulder. Rein looks great riding Alie, she's gorgeous!! Mathilde looks so funny riding Skittel!! She's such a great friend and help!! Beautiful Queen Uniek.....I will always marvel at her beauty and elegance. She was such a special horse. I still can't believe she's gone.😢

Hi Yvonne, it's amazing to me that Saly will let you in her stall, but will not tolerate another horse looking her way. They must love all the scratches you give them, Blomke really enjoyed it when you were scratching her. Thank you for the video!

I remember from Yfke that Saly does not let her foals nurse while she's eating,. But Blomke was having none of that & she just kept trying until she got what she wanted. She is a girl who knows what she wants & gets it---watch out world, Blomke is here!

I love Risey's sweet little noises when Spidey said hello, both of those boys are so sweet. Yvonne has finally been blessed with one of Saly's sweet fillies of her own. @@donnabrown4195 oh I adore her and her spunky spirit. I wish she could stay too. But It will depend on the contract terms between the surrogate mare’s owners and whoever “ leases” the surrogate. They are not necessarily sold to the other contracting party Basically it’s “ rent a uterus…and raise the contents to weaning…” And as emotionally invested as we are with these lovely creatures, we must remember it is a business….

The Icelandic horse is comfortable to ride when the steps do not bounce, it is very smooth. Alie is really beautiful, has Boss Rein found a new queen in his stable? Lovely Saly is a real sweetheart and Blomke is a cutie 🥰

Blomke is very sweet, and she seems to love scritches. Queen Uniek, it seems even more apparent now how ever-present she was. Even just her ears appearing as the monitor was placed, she was aware of everything. I think as Yvonne's videos help us to adjust, we'll still feel Uniek's presence at all the times where she would have been💝💫

Lovely Saly is protective of her little Blomke and Coralle and Reintje get the cold shoulder from her for a while. It will be interesting if Coralle will be just as protective of her foal. Uniek was undoubtedly curious about who the new foal.

Blomke is already so strong and confident for only being 1 day old! I'm looking forward to her and Belle Uniek growing up together. 💙🐎💙

Love little Flower, she is darlin and Saly is truly a good mom. Cant take my eyes off Uniek, I sure do miss her (tears). Can't wait to see the birth of our Princess Uniek and watch her grow. Love watching Spidey and Risey, they are friends. You said Glendy was not doing so good but she appeared to be walking really good in this video but you do live with her and see much more than we do. Love seeing Alie, she is so beautiful, she reminds me of Uniek but not through the looks but the way she carries herself..hiiii Boss Rein. Continued prayers for you my friend, and Boss Rein and Rising Star and little Glendy.

I'm no expert but Alie is beautiful and seems to move effortlessly. A lovely video all around 😊

I felt scared for Yvonne sometimes but she obviously knows what she’s doing and has an amazing relationship with all her horses. Little Flower is just too precious she’s very sweet. Seeing our Queen Uniek watching across from the bars made me feel emotional what an amazing earthling she was truly very special 😢 healing love and light and peace to all

Shetland ponies used to do a full days work,in the fields or gathering peat,then carry the panniers and the worker home, inch for inch they're much stronger than normal riding horses, think miniature draught horses. And also very beautiful😁

I really love how our sweet loving Saly can turn into a protective mama bear just like that! She’s sweet but she is nobody’s fool.

So sweet. Also sweet, I finally am hearing your voice and learning how some of the names are pronounced! I have newer, better hearing aids and it's so cool. Before I couldn't actually hear and distinguish what you were saying, I just watched and enjoyed when subtitled.

Good hearing aids are amazing. My hubby had bad hearing from years of being in loud industrial settings. He recently got hearing aids and says that it is life changing for him. He's so happy with them.

@@diannelavoie5385 Definitely life changing. I got my first pair about 10 years ago and I was astonished by all the little things I missed. Like keys jingling and flip flops. Had to relearn sounds. Then as my hearing worsened, I didn’t realize that there were other aids available…insurance is going to do the cheapest until you absolutely can’t hear with them anymore! I’m relearning sounds all over again. Lol

I really like that you translate how horses communicate by body signals!! It is very interesting to see what they mean with some behaviours!

I thought Coralle might be fussy about the birth alarm! Blomke has a sweet face like Lianne, but I think she might be more independent like Sanne. We’ll see! So glad to see Rein riding Alie. She’s just stunning! I hope Rein is feeling well. Skittle has such smooth gaits. I can’t believe she is 22. Thanks to Matilde for bringing her crew to Stahl H and sharing them with us. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Alie is magnificent. There is something about her that just draws attention. It's nice to see Boss Rein riding more and having fun with the horses.

Saly is always a very good mum and Blomke is such a sweet flower that iI ust want kiss that lovely face. Love how Spidey always says hello to Risey when going out. Alie is a beautiful horse and Rein looked so happy riding her. You looked wonderful riding Skittel and of course the one and only 👑Uniek.
