@@shiro9950 And the person that got raped didn't do anything to deserve what happened to them. If your family member or friend is a rapist and they get killed, you shouldn't feel bad, you should be happy that someone like them got taken off of the streets. You should be 100% proud of yourself if you take a rapist off the streets, you're saving lives if you do. It's crazy that you'd rather side with a rapist instead of a person that dished out some deserved justice. You're a rapist sympathiser and there's nothing more to it. Here's the real story from a local newspaper at the time of your admired hero; "Aaron Spencer, 21, and O'Fill Allen, 20, used Spencer's 18-year-old girlfriend, Tara Icar, as a honey trap to lure Orlando Thompson to his death. They lay in wait in a phone box before pouncing on the 31-year-old outside a bus stop and repeatedly beating him around the head with baseball bats. Icar walked off as Mr Thompson collapsed to the ground with a fractured skull and swelling to the scalp during the frenzied attack. He was taken to Charing Cross Hospital but died five days later after a severe heart attack. The Old Bailey heard how Mr Thompson, who used the street name 'X' and was also known as Neil Atherton, met Spencer's girlfriend Tara Icar while driving through Finsbury Park in his BMW. They exchanged phone numbers and they had sex after a date on June 10, 2003. But when jealous Spencer found out about Thompson a few days later, he set up the fatal attack. On June 22, Mr Thompson left his house in Sweet Briar Green, Edmonton, to meet Icar and pulled up at the bus stop in Stroud Green Road, near the junction with Tollington Park. She enticed him out of the car while Spencer and Allen hid in a phone box with one wooden and one metal baseball bat. Prosecuting Sally Howes QC, told the court: "They made straight for Mr Thompson and attacked him, striking him repeatedly and forcefully with the bats. "Most of the blows were to the head and many were struck while he was on the ground, injured and helpless." Police found two baseball bats in a nearby rubbish bin covered with traces of the victim's blood. A used condom with Mr Thompson's semen and traces of Icar's DNA was found in the victim's jacket pocket. Spencer later told friends he and Allen had beaten up a man who made sexual advances towards 'his girl' but did not mean to kill him. Judge Paul Focke QC told the pair: "You mercilessly beat the unarmed man about the head. O'Fill Allen, you became an enthusiastic and willing partner in this revenge attack. "The sentence for murder is mandatory." Allen, of Osborne Road, Finsbury Park, will serve a minimum of 11 years and 127 days before parole is considered and Spencer, of Mildmay Road, Islington, will serve at least 12 years and 127 days. Icar, of Queens Drive, Finsbury Park, admitted conspiracy to cause actual bodily harm. She will be sentenced at a later date." You would have loved the German with the mustache, he had the same integrity and sincerity and killed a lot of monsters too. Too bad you didn't lived there with him. People like you is fucking disgusting.

Jails are FILLED with ppl who did some good action and ended with the bad guy (rapist, child abusers, women assaulters) just like this man. If you believe all of them u r idiot. No one is there saying they are just bad persons. And this man didnt even lie well, his history is filled with incongruences. @@F_U: In full agreement with you, people like that should never be "respected" whatsoever, trying to rationalize his action and cost him - deservedly - this was a premeditated act with the sole purpose of causing much devastation as possible. I like when you mention 'The German with a mustache', easily compatible with Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, Osama Bin Laden, Pol Pot and so many others who caused bloodshed - yet misguided people look up to them and condone such behaviour. Some years ago a feature film was loosely based on that event, unsurprisingly it was called "Honeytrap" - all this individual (Allen) has going for him is notoriety and not much else in life : nothing more than a statistic.

That’s a big leap of faith to make especially when your ‘act of revenge’ could quickly escalate into murder or the infliction of permanent physical or brain damage. There are ALWAYS two sides to a story no matter how hard we try to deny it.

The case is very fishy. The lady pleaded guilty and to this day hasn't come out to give her response. Plus Ofill allen wasn't even the one directly aimed in the case. It was his freind Spencer. Spencer and his GF Tara both were the ones who told Ofill of the 'r4ype' But it's weird cuz, Tara and Spencer weren't in good terms during thier relationship. And for some reason, Thompson still felt comfortable enough to meet her up? Couldn't he have predicted it was a set up if he did 'r4ype' her? Unless he didn't and that's why he trusted her still. Let's not mention that Thompson and Tara had went on a date earlier and even exchanged each others phone numbers. So isn't it weird that Tara was basically cheating on Spencer? And when confronted told him it was 'r4yp?' No video, no text, no surveillance has come out. So yea obviously a person would justify himself to save himself. Now maybe Ofill Allen did 100% believe he was doing the right thing. But how could he be 100% certain that there was indeed a 'r4ype' that occurred that day? Which is why it's not a good idea to take these thing in your own hands and not even do anything to record it, much less call the police afterwards. Or even give them a chance. They knew the guy. So why couldnt they set him up with the police. All we have is word of mouth. And coincidently it just so happens to be the only ones alive. We will now never know Thompsons side of the story. Man's right about "who can you go to?" thing, 100%. In an ideal world, drugs would be legalised across the board and sold legally, so there's no need for widespread corruption as the risk/reward ratio is extremely low/high for most smaller offences (which are often carried out by drug users), so there'd be no reason to waste police resources on putting vulnerable people behind bars. We'd be able to use police funds to fund ACTUAL criminals, like rapists, child abusers/neglecters, etc. yet instead, we've had to come to vigilante justice as a society to get some form of vengeance/justice/whatever jacket you wanna put on it.

Tell me about it, I’m 29 now. When I was 18 I got 4 years for 2 box of bud & just short of 4oz of white (105g). There was a guy in pc who raped his 6yr old daughter every other weekend when he had her over the span of 30 months. The guy did barely 18 months and was out back in the public. It’s a fucked up world we live in and it sure opened my eyes to some of the weirdest, nastiest shit as a 18-21yr old inside.

From a legal or possibly ethical standpoint, you can easily say what he did was wrong. As a female survivor of CSA and SA as an adult, who was betrayed by the police, I’ll tell you this: if there’s a man willing to sacrifice his own freedom to free the world of one less monster, I’m not going to sit here and say that’s a bad thing.

Philosophically, it’s not just ‘possible’ to make a case against this kind of vigilantism but absolutely imperative. How can anyone be 100% certain that the female in question has recounted the incident with 100% accuracy? That’s a big leap of faith to make especially when this ‘act of revenge’ could quickly escalate into murder or the infliction of permanent physical or brain damage, as it did here. There are ALWAYS two sides to a story no matter how hard we try to deny it.

I had almost the exact same thing happen to me in high school. I was a a friends house up the street and a mutual "friend" said he wanted to ask my advice on something. I followed him in the bedroom and my internal alarm bells went off when he moved a love seat in front of the door. I was forced onto the bed and he tried taking off my jeans (luckily I wasn't in a dress) i ended up kicking him where it counts and getting out. I ran home. A police report was filed...nothing was done. A week later I was jumped by his sister and two of her friends for "hurting her brother." Years later, the same guy was arrested and charged for rape in two other cases. Two years ago, he died of an overdose. I felt so relieved hearing he wouldn't be hurting anyone else. There's no evidence to suggest the guy he killed was a rapist though. You need to look at the story from all angles. From what we know this could all be a lie in an attempt to get less time for an outright murder. Innocent until proven guilty... unfortunately the other side can't prove his side of the story... why?... because he's dead and can no longer defend himself. Yet everyone, including you in the comments have labelled him a rapist with ZERO evidence.

Idk this whole case is a bit fishy to me.. Playing devil's advocate here, it's a bit convenient to justify what he did by saying the guy was a ''p*dophile r*pist scumbag'' when the guy's not alive to defend himself and the girl was over 18. According to reports, the girl and the victim met, exchanged numbers, had a date and had sex and the used condom was found in the girl's pocket. The ex-boyfriend found out and organised the attack. There was no mention of r*pe in the trial and the girl was later jailed for 2 and a half years after pleading guilty to conspiracy to cause actual bodily harm for setting the victim up and luring him to his death. Then after all that, the guy in the video and the girl have never spoken since the incident?! Idk man, I don't know what to think.

The annoying thing with the judicial system is that 9 times out of 10 cps are the stalling block and the reason things take so long to get sorted. I get theres good and bad in every walk of life and the police aren't to be excused. I grew up on an estate, the police were a big presence back in those days but I found the majority were good hard working family people. They are evidence gathers they put the evidence to cps, they take it to court and this is where the weakness seems to be. I feel so sorry for anyone, man woman child who ever finds themself in this situation, it should never happen. Wow it's such a powerful topic. From This is Local London: "Aaron Spencer, 21, and O'Fill Allen, 20, used Spencer's 18-year-old girlfriend, Tara Icar, as a honey trap to lure Orlando Thompson to his death in Stroud Green. The Old Bailey (The court) heard how Mr Thompson, who used the street name 'X' and was also known as Neil Atherton, met Spencer's girlfriend Tara Icar while driving through Finsbury Park in his BMW. Spencer later told friends he and Allen had beaten up a man who made sexual advances towards 'his girl' but did not mean to kill him."

This is tragic tale and, listening to Mr Allen's story, you can't help but respect his honesty about what and why he did what he did. I certainly don't think he woke up that morning and, along with his friend, decided to kill someone that day. It does not seem to be premeditated murder. Manslaughter, yes but not murder. I have have two grown-up daughters and I defy anyone to not agree with the 'justice' that was metered out to the victim. Being a victim of rape or sexual assault is a life sentence of emotional damage and pain. Had the victim survived his injuries, people may have said he had what was coming to him. However, from what was said, it seems he was a sexual predator and indeed, had he lived, may have doubtless gone on to attack many other young women before he was caught. So, to that end, as Mr Allen puts it, there is one less rapist walking the earth. Mr Allen also points out that going to the police would have been a waste of time, principally because people of colour are treated differently by the justice system. We know, from countless reports about institutional racism endemic across many police forces, that he has a point. Secondly, as he correctly referenced, Wayne Couzens, a serving officer in the Met, abducted, raped and murdered Sarah Everard. Trust in the police force, particularly in densely-populated cities, is at an all-time low. In the end, Mr. Allen has served his time and is attempting to turn his life around. I wish him the best of British luck.

Honestly nobody deserves to die over rape, beat someone's ass but not kill them. Most time rape isn't like TV where it's aggressive and you throw the other person around, something can get out of hand and you can get caught up, it doesn't mean you are this big bad person because you technically raped a girl. This is someone's kid, you don't understand life yet, a rapist family doesn't have to cry their eyes out because of a mistake their kid made, it doesn't make him worthless because he raped a girl. Everybody has the right to live, rape is not murder, so there is no reason to take someone's life for it

Or perhaps rather, you personally "can't help" but *assume* his "honesty". Despite none of it adding up. You're not alone & what u said about the justice system IS accurate, but we can't allow it to cloud our judgment, as none of that has any bearing on his guilt or innocence. I wanted to believe him too yet, as others have layed out in great detail, the whole thing is simply not credible, even if it reinforces a narrative we feel strongly about. In fact, that's precisely when it's most important to be mindful of our inherent biases. Please understand, I'm not unsympathetic to your inclination. Quite the opposite, actually. Indeed that's how I'm able to recognize it. You see, I too distrust the justice system, despise the police, & support victims who castrate or even kill their abusers. I speak from experience, as I've been guilty of allowing my passion for "justice" to override my commitment to evidence & reason, causing me to jump the gun on many occasion. Until, inevitably, it was my own " uncompromising principles" (uneasonable self-righeous zeal), my own convinctions, which lead to my conviction... Best of luck.

I almost am beginning to question if it really did go down like that, because she doesn't sound like a solid person based off of what he is saying rn.. but damn that's toughhh..

@@kylejones8891 This has nothing to do with my comment you are delusional. That’s known that police are rapists and abusers and killers, they are not above being awful people, and the fact that it’s so many of them plus they have a false sense of reality and have so much power a whole lot of them are bound to be awful or not be the ones to stop the awful or will just go along with the awful. Your career has nothing to do with who you are as a person. He also didn’t say they all were he talked of a true account. So imagine just adding so much you’ve muddled what he actually said. Also who cares, you all love to give men the benefit of the doubt time and time again. The fact that two different people said something has happened gets weird and you still have no evidence that he didn’t do it.

@@justme-ew3ri A man was murdered with no evidence of rape and your so mentally ill that you think it's somehow acceptable. The women who was apparently raped didn't tell the courts or provide any evidence, even though she was punished for being involved in the murder. That's strange to any normal and healthy functioning adult. No women has gone on record and said the man in question did anything, it's only his word that this is true. The original comment is likely more correct than anything you've waffled. His boy friend was likely jealous of the man having sex with his ex and he got roped into backing his friend up. They then arranged to meet him and hurt him but instead killed him. Instead of facing murder charges they claimed it was because the ex was raped... Few flaws in that, 1. The women never mentioned anything about being raped in court or to the police. 2. If she was raped then I'm sure the rapist wouldn't go along with wanting to meet her again after
