This is a prequel to Daechwita and Haegeum. It is the end of the trilogy of songs and depicts the emergence of the Agust D persona. The cut/scar is a representation of his past trauma. Everything you see in the flashbacks and dream are real event. The room represents his dark memories which he can’t escape.

Is not a dream is a memory, dude the man is talking about his past life, all the stuggles he went throught and how he manage to succeeded back to the light from all that darkness and pain. Very deep song, Suga has all my respect and I'm so proud of him. It's actually an inspiring song and full of motivation for others who are going throught a bad situation, hope this song help others to become stronger and taking the right decision that life matters and there is always hope for everything 🙏🏻 I love you Suga you are a true warrior💜💪🏻👑

the amount of respect i have for yoongi skyrocketed after watching this, and i already had so much respect for him. the way he's so vulnerable and being open about his past trauma and struggles, it takes a lot of strength to be able to do that. and seeing him being so open and acknowledging it is also comforting to the rest of us who struggle, and it feels motivating in that sense that it's a reminder that we are not alone in our battles. this, haegeum, and the whole album only further cemented in my mind that yoongi deserves to be acknowledged as one of the best rappers and musicians out there. not just in kpop but everywhere. he's a true artist and deserves to bee seen as one of the best

I just remember what this reminds me of. Sonically, the ambient sounds and the background track sound very much like one of the main OST themes in the famous 2016 K-drama 'Goblin, the Lonely and Great God.'

my interpretation for this video is that it tells the story of agust d’s birth, yoongi has said that his music under agust d is full of anger, sadness and resentment, and that’s mostly born from his life and his struggles (that’s also why he said this is most likely the last release as agust d since he learned to grow and let go of his anger), the scar is also obviously not real, but it has represented agust d in both daechwita and haegeum mvs, so that’s the biggest hint imo, but yeah, it’s definitely a very raw and vulnerable song about struggling with what life throws at you and fighting to go forward, i’m very proud of him for releasing this💜

The pain, the raw agony, the truth… it hits so hard and in ways only each person who watches this will know. It feels like a way to understand and somewhat come to terms with trauma after a long time. It is so incredibly special. No other words 💜💙🌴

Suga explained Agust d as his channel to communicate his raw feelings. Earlier years full of fury, i'd say. Letting the lingering feelings in the past as he already made it into his music. It feels like i also emotionally grow with him as i followed every releases of him.

Hey Sweetie: No worries. JUST recovering from Ms.Rona and although I got 3 shots in the past 2 yrs? That sh*t must've been null n void 'cos it hit my arse - HARD!! 🤣🤣. Can honestly say - wouldn't wish it on my worse enemy. Got over the fever/migraines after 4 days but the WORSE PART which is taking longer to bounce back from? The HORRIBLE weakness and lack of appetite.. Am a 55 yr old Army Mom and have never felt or been affected by this weakness. THAT is lasting waaay too long for my liking. Anyhoo...like I said on other reactioner's thingys ....this will go down in History as my Number One fave song by Suga - to date.
