@@benjammin9471 Not because of the two managers, but rather because of the constant back and forth between City and Liverpool. Taking PL into account only, City and Liverpool have kept fighting against each other. And neither has won any matches against the other away.

We've also met in the champions league and in cup finals, the point being that both teams have been elevated beyond their previous levels and that is due to the two managers

More award events should be like this. Casual atmosphere with food and drinks. You can see the guests are more relax in this than in those formal events.

Blue Cityzen The last match was amazing. Klopp just edged it in terms of tactics. Yeah Liverpool got luck but honestly they were bound to win that game with the way they set up. With Laporte and Ederson in the team it would have been a draw. Liverpool missed Matip too and Salah was carrying an injury but still a great game. Every minute is intense. What impresses me more with Klopp is that he made this team with the 3rd lowest net spend in the league. That’s incredible. Teams like West Ham and Wolves spend more money but don’t even get close to that level.

Also having money doesn't always guarantee success as Manchester United has shown the world.

Alexander Sarbêba there is clearly a rivalry with city, and I kind of enjoy it. It all started with that 4-3 thriller at Anfield, and these are the 2 best teams in the world, playing in the same league so there’s bound to be a rivalry.

Actually, if you look at Barcelona, Bayern and City in recent years, very few top managers have been there. Pep's probably the best one, so he stands out. I think they all respect each other. Inside Anfield last years showed that outside the pitch , Jose talked with Klopp -both smiling and showing respect. It's just his character. He's one of the best manger in world football for sure.

Both absolutely incredible and funny managers

They were both very open in their speeches. Klopp always implicates that he doesn’t watch City games but here he gives it off. Pep likes to pretend that he doesn’t care about the CL but here he says he wouldn’t mind a swap with Klopp. And then he makes a joke on City’s money, which he never does. These two have raised the stakes in the PL. Only in this era can you get well over 90 points and still not win the league. The current City and Liverpool sides would dominate any era of English football if they weren’t up against each other.
