Why would he pay them more if fighters are willing to step in for what the ufc is willing to pay them? If they don't like it they can choose not to agree to the terms or...they can go into boxing...but also remember for every boxer making multi-millions there are probably a 100 that don't ever get more than a few pennies to pinch per fight. I would probably even guess that a lower ranked/relatively unknown ufc fighter makes more than a lower ranked/relative unknown boxer. It's only at the pinnacle that boxing outshines the ufc whereas the bottom/lower mid tier ufc probably pays more. Otherwise there would no reason to compete in the ufc over boxing and many more people go the route of the ufc over boxing these days.

Dana just sulking right now as he wants a share of ngannou fight money.

I remember when everyone even myself was scared for my African brother after he left the ufc thinking he may not get what he wants elsewhere even though he was worth every penny of what he was asking for! Man I am so happy for Francis this brother deserves every single thing he has made happen for himself win lose or draw, just being considered to win after the fury performance alone is nuts and it’s only him I believe could have done something so huge and that being regardless of how u felt the fury fight went him even being considered to have won is the biggest thing in sports in the last 50 years if not ever in combat sports! Alhamdulillah for everything my African brother has achieved and may god bless both Joshua and Francis in the ring and keep them both safe and healthy so they can enjoy the rest of their lives with their loved ones!
