I don't buy bread anymore! The new perfect recipe for quick bread
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Crispy, flaky crust on the outside, amazingly soft on the inside, this bread is so tasty that I don’t buy bread anymore! 🍞
This bread is not only easy to make but also incredibly tasty. Perfect for breakfast, sandwiches, or just a snack - this bread will be your new go-to recipe. So, let's get baking and fill your home with the aroma of fresh bread!
Ingredients:
For the Starter:
• Water: 3 ½ tbsp. (50 ml)
• Sugar: 1 tsp.
• Fresh yeast: 1 ⅓ tsp. (6 grams) or dry yeast: 1 tsp. (3 g)
• Bread flour: ½ cup (60 g)
For the Dough:
• Water: ¾ cup + 1 tbsp (200 milliliters)
• Bread flour: 2 ½ cups (320 grams)
• Salt: 1 ½ tsp. (9 g)
This recipe doesn’t require any kneading, just mixing! I use a unique method I call “lift and slap”, together with "stretch and fold", to help the dough rise nicely. The dough is then shaped into two beautiful loaves, sprinkled with flour, scored and baked to perfection. The result? A crust that sings and a soft, flavorful crumb that’s perfect with butter.
Remember, the joy of cooking is in the process as much as in the final product. So, let’s enjoy the process together and make some delicious bread! 🥖

Hi from sunny Sri Lanka. I have tried thrice now to make this type of bread by watching other youtube tutorials but they have not turned out well. I have a strong feeling that this one will work. Lemme try it and comment. Thanks for sharing.

I believe in you! Just make sure your flour has a good protein content (10%+ is good, 12% is ideal). Let me know how it goes!
Great video, I’m going to try to make it

Haha you can do it! ♥
Could you possibly make one large loaf out of this, and if so, what changes would need to be implemented? Larger, deeper pan? Different cook time? Thanks so much!

Hi Christina, you could totally do this. Definitely a bigger and deeper pan, even a pot will do. I'd bake it covered for 20 minutes and uncovered for about 15 minutes (or until golden brown). Just to give you an idea, here's a video from earlier where I make just one loaf kzread.info/dash/bejne/d2Shxaeng8SdgNo.html. The process is slightly different, but you can see how I bake it.

👍👍👍Super!!
Is that considered sourdough bread or a traditional yeast bread? It’s beautiful ❤ can I use All-purpose flour instead of bread flour and have it turn out like yours?

It's not considered sourdough, it's "normal" yeast that you can find in any supermarket. You can use all-purpose flour, but make sure it has a good protein content. 10%+ is good, 12% is ideal. Just check the label for protein content before you buy.
Thank you for sharing your amazing bread recipe. Can I use instant dry yeast instead of fresh yeast?.Thanks 🙏🏻

Hi! No, I used regular yeast.
Hey my friend, wondering if I use whole wheat flour would it be the same ?

You can, but I would only replace 1/3 of the flour with whole wheat. If you use only whole wheat, the dough has a hard time rising because the bran is heavy. Here's a bread I made using 1/3 whole wheat kzread.info/dash/bejne/haaZmpufgamZg7g.html, the taste is really amazing.
