Great video. Most singers & professionals don’t have the vocal range that he has plus he singing in 2 languages that are not his native language.

Marcelito Pomoy had a very hard childhood his parents divorse at his early age and he and his siblings was given to relatives so they can have a better life but he didnt so growing up he did a lot of odd jobs like construction he has no voice training at all and he cant afford it anyways just his meal to survive on one ocassion while he and his co-worker having a drinking session he was ask to sing and they are all surprised to hear his voice so he was encourage to join some competition as they know he has a chance and also told him that that may be his way to see his parents and siblings he love and missed so much so thats what he did but when he sees that there is a bigger stage and bigger purse "Pilipino Got Talent" he hope that this stage will make way of his wish to re-unite his family and he did as the contest progress he becomes popular and slowly some of his siblings comes out that inspired him to win. After winning the contest and got the big price he re-unite his family but greed came in that it seems impossible to make it happen as his mom and his eldest sister wants a bigger chunk of the price money and still dont want to reconsile with his father. Seeing this he becomes disappointed and in the end focus on building his own family which he did. He is a very down to earth person he does not like limelight thats why you will notice with his talent he seems to be unknown because he seldom go on TV as he loves to be still his normal self with family and new found friend in his neighborhood happy for simple things singing in karoeke near their place that who he is. HE was just convince by his wife to join "America's Got Talent" later to prefer for her daughters future. He was a favorite he aced every performance. But with a twist he was kick out of the finals in favor of a dance group and people are disappointed even the judges except Simon, he gave it a chance as his wife wishes and they are not lucky a lot of conspiracy theories but he accepted it and back to his normal life with ocassional invitation when he has time but for him family first as thats what he missed since chldhood. 😔 Do checkout his performance at AGT ( America's Got Talent ) and decide for yourself. Check out his rendition of Power Of love by Celine Dion at Wish 107.5. Also checkout his duet with a very famous filipina singer Morissette and see how he can easily take on her high notes.

Alice, Loved your response to Marcelito, so I subscribed. I've shared these thoughts before but thought you might find them interesting. Two personalities, Celine & Andrea, Female and male sounds precisely executed, in two languages - neither one is his native language which is Tagalog. He dose this with many duets and female voices. I have a theory: Marcelito, is, of course, gifted with an unbelievably beautiful voice, but it is his BRAIN that can MEMORIZE exactly what he HEARS and his marvelous voice allows him to recreate it PRECISELY, even female voices, minute inflections in other singers' voices, and in accurate pronunciation of foreign languages. That strange thing that he does with his mouth after the song is because the Sound Engineers were teasing him about having a 'female voice' so he was 'removing' it. Marcelito is humble with a great sense of humor and a charming stage presence. Well, enough - I thought you might enjoy some insight into this gifted singer. Cheers.

Since it is a tracked recording, he includes all of the harmonies where Bocelli and Dion sing together in harmony.
