Sorry you’re in this nightmare Dan. I know you started this channel to give behind the scenes insight but didn’t think it would be quite this brutal. I have been a motorcycle race fan and marshal for years and only started watching BTCC after seeing one of your videos on KZread. Thank you!!! It could be possible but it’s very expensive to be able to make a profit from and only so many limited spaces. But it is a good idea, it just comes down to what people would pay I guess. I’m hoping these packages will take off 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

You could always do like a package below bronze which is like £15 or something for a 15 min zoom chat with you and like any other btcc drivers who would wanna help you and be in it aswell and let the guests just either chat or ask questions or whatever, people always wanna ask questions it could do pretty well?

Crowd funding isn’t a charity . It’s simply supporters / fans contributing towards things or people they support. Also maybe contact Hyundai an pimp yourself to them ? You need to finish the season . I was at Snetterton at the weekend both days and heard plenty of people cheering you on . (Confession ) I was there to support Sutton an Plato . Well first of all,i see congrats are on order,as its been reported you have picked up sponsorship from Bristol street motors,to keep you running till the end of the season,which obviously is fantastic news.Does this mean i can have my money back for the t shirt and poster?😄.Only joking,both items are of the highest quality,as well as being hand signed on the poster.Unfortunately it seems your qualifying for thruxton hasnt gone great,or for ingram for that matter.Whats important though,is all the stress,working all hours to raise the budget is now gone.So hopefully you can get your head down and recapture that oulton park form.

I used to think the drivers were picked by the teams and the driver just raced whilst the team/sponsers handled all the payments. Maybe it is or used to be like that in some cases. It's not a part of the sport I have any idea about. In any case I hope you can continue. It will be harsh to have to pull out at the end, especially when you have driven so well.

Don't forget there's also an option for a larger A1 size poster and £49 for Dan rather than £29 for the A3 poster. That's what I've done 👍

They don’t get involved because it’s a global budget for the motorsport program so they don’t get involved in the UK.. crazy really because I’m sure they’d get a ROI on what they could do.

I’m sure they used to back in the super touring days of the mid to late 90’s when there was a lot more manufacturers, Volvo, ford, Nissan, Honda, Vauxhall, Renault, Peugeot etc etc. I think they had some kind of philosophy of win races Sunday sell cars Monday or something like that.

Crowd funding wouldn't be begging or charity, it would allow people to help you out, I would rather send some money your way, than buy things I don't want or need.

this really is the harsh reality of motor racing. 8th in the championship, and would have been higher than that, without the fallout from the crash .By far,the standout driver this season, past the usual suspects.So it really is incredible ,that this could be it. Without wanting to sound disrespectful,there are quite a few drivers on that grid ,without barely, if any points to there name ,simply because of funding,and not ability. Take multiple race winner Jack Goff for example.A fine,proven BTCC driver,who simply cannot race because of sponsorship issues. I suspect the currant state of the country's economy, is not helping in any way,with sponsors committing, with such a volatile financial climate. If you crowd funded,i would certainly donate to keep exciting drivers in the BTCC...but i know you are not keen on that. I just hope something comes up for you..
