What a lovely young man - but sad coming from 2 highly intelligent parents, he didn’t vote…. How many people across the world would love to have this opportunity. Look what happens in Russia Will. Here, we vote them in and we vote them out - Russia, China and the likes - there is no choice

The irony of Michael Gove's son not registering to vote and saying that the Tory's have made such a mess is not lost on me. I know many people who didn't vote this time because there wasn't anyone standing that was worthy of their vote. I voted for Larry the cat - I wrote his name on the ballot paper and gave the reasons why.

I do not think the Tories had any intention of deporting immigrants to Rwanda. The flights were well advertised giving the protesters chance to turn up and the Gov an excuse to back down. If the PM really wanted to go ahead the flight could have left from an RAF secure airfield.

Why do remainders think they should rejoin. Btw I reluctantly voted Remain despite knowing its not Democratic, many countries countries are in a worse than us particularly Germany and France. I live in Spain and recently figures showed that supermarket prices have risen 36% in the past 3 years.

it’s pretty sad that you have competent government happening right under your nose, but you can’t see it - too busy throwing a pity party for the Tory MPs who lost their seats. Perhaps if they had not been part of a corrupt incompetent government for the last 14 years they wouldn’t be out on their ear now. There is indeed a human element to this, and it’s the public who have been so badly served by the Tories. The poor out of work Tory MP suffering pales into insignificance compared to the depravation they have foisted on the people of the UK.

They sound so condescending and privileged know-it-alls. No respect for this podcast.

They don’t seem to have human rights lawyers in France. Recently a man was sent back within days of committing a crime and he’d been in France since he was 12. I believe ( but not certain) there’s no right of appeal in France- so much for the ECHR
