I was taught to sharpen a bench chisel to an angle of 25 degrees, with a secondary angle of 30 degrees. Then the paring chisel at 20 degrees, with a secondary angle of 25 degrees. Still do it today.

Who else was scared to look when he was testing the chisel after making it extremely sharp. As a carpenter one of the first things you learn is to keep both hands behind the cutting edge

1) So, a jig so you can cut with your circular saw instead of your mitre saw. Made on your mitre saw. 2) Chisel grind guide- it helps to have a guide to ensure they are square in the jig. 3) corner clamps- useful!

1) Сойдёт за неимением торцовки, но проблемы начинаются если хочешь отпилить что то тоньше чем доски подкладки. 2) заточная каретка получается излишне массивной (вместо деревяшек лучше взять металлическую полосу), кроме того колёсики такого типа никогда не бывают ровными, следовательно при использовании каретку будет колбасить - почему бы не взять подшипники как делают почти все? 3) угловая струбцина, учитывая что жать ими такое - усилие идёт не под 90 к склеиваемому шву, то проще взять пластиковые с али.

Не плохо , только инструмент для заточки стамесок я сделал из 12 й фанеры .

3 самоделки не за 9 минут, а за 9 минут видео, думаю ушло 9 часов быстрее. На 2 самоделке рекомендую колеса сделать из подшипников, так как идет быстрый износ колес, даже подшипников, шире, потому как можно будет затачивать ножи рубанков, и лучше корпус алюминиевый или железный так как можно из за толщины, мейсель или стамеску со скошенной заточкой затачивать и увеличить длину болтов зажимных чтобы к примеру можно было долото заточить

at 6:55, you have a piece of timber between a running blade and a fixed fence! ????? In my training as a furniture maker we learned that in this situation an eventual kickback can be very dangerous (which I have experienced before the course myself- it scared the sxxt out of me, the piece went past me-lucky me- and went through a plasterboard wall two meters behind me), so please remember: Push the piece you are cutting to measure along the fixed fence with a push stick -past the running blade into the safe area and remove the other piece with your free hand (usually the left) away from the running blade. Hope that helps

I'm sorry, but the corner clamps hold 90 degrees, BUT THEN, how do you get access to the joints to connect them together? I guess only glue could connect them. No nails. No screws. Nothing can get past the clamps you've created!

☝️☝️☝️ 1-я: делаю всё намного проще и технологичней - из 2х реек 8х40 мм длиной примерно по 30-40 см склеен точный неравнолучевой крест 90°. Просто кладу его на доску, которую отпилить/торцануть надо, уперев в её ребро поперечену, правый луч которой ставлю напротив метки линии реза, а вдоль верхней поперечены веду, прижав к ней пяту дисковой пилы. Дольше писал чем сделать и отпилить.

С таким инструментом самоделки ни к чему

Реклама AEG. Ни один столяр не работает с китайскими угольниками, на 300мм погрешность 1-3мм. Даже не смотрел до конца видео.

Рекламы тут нет. Если тебя задевает бренд, то представь на его месте любой другой и живи спокойно. Этот угольник самый точный. Я его выбирал 20 минут, пока перебирал все в магазине. Самый дешёвый оказался самым точным. Если ты думаешь, что цена или внешний вид имеет значение, то разочарую - ты глубоко ошибаешься.

Каждому своё. Мои ролики ничему не учат,- это развлекательный контент. А вот угольник - да, самый точный из всех, что на тот момент были в магазине. Я даже думал снять ролик про это. Ведь многие тупо берут подороже и думают, что цена залог точности 😄

It's quite entertaining playing guess-what-the-hell-is-he-making, but it would be a much better instructional vid if it started with being told what it is, and what it is for. But I suppose the vid is meant as entertaining rather than instructional.

Minuti 6:08: mai e poi mai e poi mai ancora fare un taglio al banco sega che abbia il lato di appoggio alla squadra di misura inferiore alla distanza dalla squadra alla lama. Il rischio di farsi malissimo è davvero alto. Minuto 6:57 ancora peggio!! Non è possibile cazzo spingere un pezzo al banco sega dal lato opposto della lama!!!! Il pezzo rimanente tra la lama e la squadra potrebbe partire come un proiettile!! Fatti un esame di coscienza! Se non sei capace lascia stare, rischi che qualche sprovveduto, imitandoti pensando che tu sia un grande esperto, sia meno fortunato di te e si faccia davvero male. Ma cazzo un po' di buon senso almeno.

Claro, si tenés esas máquinas , quien no...
