I did not think I would get addicted to heroin.
What's It Feel Like for heroin to take over your life in just a month?:
Bailey first tried heroin when she was just out of high school. Though she grew up in a good home, she started hanging out with the wrong group of kids after high school. She says within one month she was hooked on the drug. Bailey was in and out of multiple rehabs. It took an overdose while she was 18 weeks pregnant to get sober. She talks about the coping skills she uses now to stay sober and what she wants any parent to know if their child is in active addiction.
Bailey now works at a rehab facility in Dittmer, MO called Sana Lake Recovery Center.

As a recovering addict I’ll never understand people who introduce others to their drug of choice. You know what it feels like, the hold it has over you. Even at my worst I would never have subjected ANYONE else to that, not even my worst enemy. Beyond the physical side effects, it completely destroys your self image and self worth if they aren’t already gone. I’ve been sober for close to 2 years now and still struggle with the shame and guilt from when I was using. People who give you hard drugs are not your friends and do not care about you. That’s a hard pill for a lot of people to swallow.
This channel deserves so many more views. This was a great video

What about weed and alcohol then? The world will always consume drugs and alcohol. It will never end.
