I did not think I would ever hit jumps like these | Hood River, Oregon
Спорт
I left Utah and headed straight to Oregon. This was a spontaneous destination and I am so glad I went. Rachel had called me a few days before to tell me that they were going to be in Oregon and that I should go. I ended up meeting them after my Utah trip! This trip was a blast not only because I got to hang out with some of my favorite humans but also because this trip boosted my jumping confidence. It was awesome to have friends that truly knew what my skill level was and pushed me to try jumps that I would not have hit on my own. This was hands down one of my favorite trips. It has really changed me moving forward and continuing to travel to knew places, I am now hitting bigger gap jumps. Stay tuned to find out what other places I head to next.

Cool to see you in Oregon…Sandy Ridge is outside Sandy Oregon, pretty far from hood river. Not to fact check you on stuff but I want to make sure we give props to the local communities that build and maintain those trails…and make sure we get those communities right. Hood River has an awesome MTB scene, but these trails are supported by folks in and around the rad town of Sandy Oregon

Sandy ridge is pretty cool I like black rock better But I’ve spent the most time at post canyon in hood river Learning many many miles of trails and some of the sickest jump lines like chorus.

@@bradyjones6771 NW Trail Alliance does a good job. They take care of Stub Stewart State Park too. I try to hit both of those up anytime I’m over there
Awesome work Heather! You should change the title to Sandy, Oregon as this not in Hood River. Happy trails.
Awesome! I still freak out every time my wheels leave the ground, cant wait till i can start sending it like that!
Two of my favorite jump lines. That’s Sandy Ridge though not Post Canyon.
Cool watching you progress the last couple of years. You are making huge strides now.
I love how every video starts with your disposition being completely upbeat and surprised by what the world has to offer haha
Your riding skills seem to be skyrocketing during this big trip. Great video and riding! Keep it up!
Not on this video but I wanted to say it was awesome seeing you and your friends on Dirt ever Day. That was pretty cool
Very inspiring. Of course, I don’t have K S towing me in, either, lol
FIrst time I've heard you silent on jumps... ;) Usually you are all giddy. Nice job.
Nope! Above my page grade and below my age bracket! You Killed It!
I would love to have a wife like you shredding the trails and being able to rock as parents! Shoutout to all parents having the time of their lives!
Heather! Thanks for creating fun, entertaining, informative content!!!!
Kyle is a legend. I remember watching him in Rampage when he was 14
Love the energy of your videos! Keep them coming.

Love Sandy Ridge! one of my favorite places to ride. Hoping to someday build up the skills for TNT and Johnny Royale too! Regardless of skill level though the place is fun as heck.

Nice one Heather ..... yeah gap jumps do mess with you mind but you had Kyle to tow you in 👊 ...as long as you commit and have the correct speed & technique it will go well. If your not sure when 1st looking then come back another day
Hoppin Heather hooting it up on Mt. Hood!
That’s some great work Heather excellent accomplishment I don’t think most people realize the extra stress it puts on you when there’s nothing between the jump But a gap that wants to kill you

Hood River is rad, and you should go check out Post Canyon. This is Sandy Ridge, just East of Sandy Oregon. Check out both places
Oregon is so green!
Send it!!!!
Since you’re in oregon, head south toward Bandon and check out whiskey river bike park. Its a blast 💥

6:03 changing gear under full power.. cool.
Great job Heather you are soooo good at jumping ... this is my first year mountain biking and jumping is soooooo scary but it looks like sooo much fun...... keep smiling *wink wink hahaha*

Nice video.
Whooooo! That “Rocked!” I swear I thought that tree was going to get you 😅 And they have fried pickles in Oregon? I thought that was a southern thang.
Did I just see you at Teton Village Bike Park a couple of days ago? Coulda sworn it was you but couldn't remember your name till it was too late. D'oh!

Sandy Ridge is a lot of fun. Given the area I trust there's a Post Canyon video coming? Can't ride in the Mt Hood area and not ride Hood River's iconic trail system.
Looked like “Cake Baby”, nice job
Cool video and awesome riding! Fun fact-the Timberline Lodge was used for the exterior shots of the hotel in Stephen King’s The Shining 😱
Wow
Welcome to PNW Heather! You are close to my area, check Sixth Sense or Trillium close to Yacolt WA
Video en español! You told us , there was going to be a video in Spanish. 😂🤙🏼
Holy smokedogs you girls Rip and are Beautiful, Thankyou youtube for Recommending I watch! It stokes me out seeing girls that rip! In my videos I have a video of a previous girlfriend That I taught to ride park Snowboarding with me and she even got sponsored but I could never get her on anykind of Bike and I tried and tried... I live in Cali right near Yosemite and have so many epic places to ride too. BMX racing was my first love but mtn biking where I do is so epic!
Didnt hear your normal cheers when jumping, you was kinda quiet.. I'm sure they was scary, I was scared for you :). Nice job, made it look easy, they even looked big on camera!
@3:02 Using those buttery film transitions
I may end up creating a soundbite (ringtone, text alert, etc) of your laugh. :)

What a huge jumps girl.....you just ride great!! as we said in Mexico.......shingon, shingon (hope YT don't block my account)
You're killing me ;) Kyle and Rachel live in SD I thought? What were they doing up there?
man, wish I could jump.
Did you ride the 17 mile ride from Timberline back to town?
Oh, and they need to get The Gap to sponsor the jumps on that trail. BAHAHAHA. Yeah sorry, I'll see myself out.
Heather said something about “these Oregon trails”. My brain just though “you have died of dysentery”
Heather can you stay in room 237 next time??👻👻👻
What kind of bike are you riding here?
could you use more superlatives?
Anybody know what glasses she’s wearing?
What part of Oregon was this? Those trails look epic.

Hood River is north of Mount Hood, and the trails there are called Post Canyon. These are the Sandy Ridge trails, 10 miles east of Sandy Oregon.
these jumps are no joke, I'm kinda shocked at how non chalant you are with it... a case on those is pretty big consequences..... meanwhile I'm 🥳🥳 if I can get 4 feet of air... lol. How long did it take you to get to this point, with this level of confidence going big?
Does anyone know what type of glasses heather is wearing?
