I hate applying product to my hair when it's wet. I'm low porosity and I notice that my hair has to be barely damp when I apply my DC/moisturizers to get the best results.

Khrys Clay I’m low porosity also & used to feel the same! I agree about the deep conditioners but applying my leave in in the shower was actually a game changer. I just made sure my hair wasn’t dripping wet.

I have the same problem, but spraying hot water per section on my hair works to open the hair cuticle and get the product in

I always style in the shower. I feel like it would take so much longer outside of the shower.

I can’t wait for my hair to grow health...hopefully with the guidance of these videos lots of love ❤️

I get way more elongation when I do my hair in the shower right after I rinse out my DC. It's warm, soaking wet, and my applying my product with the praying hands method plus shaking it gets rid of the excess water so I don't drip. It saves a TON of time--my WNG went from thirty minutes or more doing the spray bottle thing to just 10 minutes running it through my slippery wet head in the shower. I'm low porosity, high density, (mostly) type 4a, btw!

@@CaramelCoils Big secret--you don't need a lot of sections for definition. XD I just do four large section and praying hands all that hair with the product until I get the feeling in my hands that it's saturated. Then shake it it in every direction for a few minutes--some how that makes curls clump. That's the thing that saved me the most time. I also don't apply a leave-in or creams--just "jellies" (Kinky-Curly Curling Custard or Palmer's Styling Nectar are my faves). Four sections + One Product = 15 minutes or less! This is basically what I do if you need a visual (just no leave in, aloe juice, or oil ;P): kzread.info/dash/bejne/kX2e08lueJmZlbg.html

Adding leave ins and stylers in the shower is def a game changer! You do save product, and that’s one thing I love about doing it in the shower. Your hair looked super moisturized and juicy. Day 3?! Yeah this is bomb 💣

I don’t like doing anything besides shampoo and rinsing my hair in the shower. I’m absolutely blind when I’m in the shower since I don’t have my contacts or glasses. I attempted to style my hair in shower and I kept dropping everything and honestly felt like i was in there a lifetime.

T Fowl yesss on the dry skin part! This is why I only see myself applying leave in in the shower. Standing their applying the rest of my products had my skin dry AF. Even if wet my body again before getting out the shower, it’s not the same lol skin still crispy

I take warm/hot showers. Not only am I blind but can barely breath. I have to keep the door open and run right out before I go back in to style my hair. 🤷

Shaiyino Mendoza You mean like a nighttime routine to preserve your wash & go? I’d still recommend trying the pineapple method but lately I’ve actually been sectioning my hair off in about 5 sections & using pony tail holders at the roots then covering it with a bonnet. This helps me preserve my “shape” a little better, so it isn’t so top heavy

I have low and high porosity , what can i Do ?😕 And it gets friizzy Type : 3c/ 4a

Your hair is so pretty!! I have a serious question. My hair is type 4, but I feel like it’s never defined at my roots. It’s literally puffy until I get to my ends. Any suggestions?

Made Up by Kirsten Aw thanks boo! ☺️ It could be the products & your technique, I used to have the same issue. What products are you using? & when you’re applying product, make sure to saturate each section from roots to tips, especially with products that give you bomb definition & hold 💓

Deep condition effectively, use a good moisturizer (leave-in) that works for you and seal that oil in with an oil or a butter.

Deep conditioning weekly with indirect HEAT to really get the benefits of the DC. Using warm/hot water when you’re applying your products & making sure to to evenly distribute them as well! Just a few tips 🧡

Keiwolf well definition is gonna come from products & your wash & go technique. What are you using in your hair? As far as fluffy, stretching & picking (at the roots) should do the trick. I have a video on my channel of how I stretch & fluff my hair!

Caramel Coils Sry for late reply I usually wash my hair and deep condition then I go section by section and curl by curl with a leave in and a dime size of gel but I make sure it’s on my roots Cus they really get puffy

I always apply my leave-in in the shower now thanks to Kimberly Cherrell and it’s definitely a game changer, but my wash and go in the shower was not it 😔 I think it was TOO much water which I didn’t even think was possible 🤷🏽‍♀️ next time I’ll turn the water off lol
