I Did a Bioenergetic Exercise to Release Anger & Here's How My Body Responded...

Give anger a healthy outlet before it turns into a violent behavior and you release it on someone else. Today I illustrate a bioenergetic exercise to activate suppressed anger. This exercise will help if you have a more aggressive personality and want to manage anger; it will also support you if you have a passive personality and a difficult time with feeling aggression and lack self-assertion.
Disclaimer: This does not replace 1-1 therapy - it is only a tool to deepen your mind-body connection and expand inner work self-exploration.

*2 Ways to Work With Me:* *Option 1: 6-Week In-Body Immersion* This is a private introduction to Somatic Healing. Each week, we will engage in a new exercise that will inspire spontaneous expression as you begin to trust the many ways your body wants to move towards harmony. I will guide you through emotional blocks and help you decode signs within symptoms. In our time together, you will acquire numerous somatic techniques, a comprehensive review of each experience, and a lifestyle plan to live in accordance with the laws of the body. This process is to REVITALIZE what was once traumatized - from frozen to sensitized. Coming alive and feeling like home. - Structure: 6/90 min sessions (Must be used within 8 weeks) This work is for you if you want to learn the mechanics of the body and explore Eastern/Western techniques to heal from trauma. *Option 2: 12-Week Private Mentorship* This is a 12-week experience that requires you to slow down, feel, and express. I take a holistic, embodied approach to help you create a lifestyle that is purposeful and energetically alive. During our time together, you will learn how to navigate the unconscious psyche-soma and cultivate a healthy sexuality. I will introduce you to books and embodiment exercises, and we will create a diet and exercise plan tailored to your mobility and daily responsibilities. I’ve personalized this mentorship to be as insightful and supportive as possible! All of my work draws upon trauma psychology, somatic techniques, and spiritual practices. As a self-healing system, respect and compassion are the cornerstones of what makes you feel like ‘home’. Without these two principles, you will have quite a difficult time differentiating from symptoms and will easily fall prey to emotional states. For this reason, there are conditions to inform you if this mentorship is feasible for you. Prerequisites: Complete sobriety and no medication. However, if you're willing to transition into sobriety and want extra support, I will honorably work with you. This is non-negotiable when working with trauma. If you cannot do this, it’s okay; it simply means that I am not the right coach for you. This mentorship is right for you if you… - Can manage 12 weeks of dedicated somatic inner work - Want to learn from the body - Can say no to drinking/smoking - Have 10-14 hours a week for self-care (2 hours per day) Full Mentorship Details: This extends over 12 weeks. 1 x 120min weekly meeting (same day & time). I offer support between sessions during open office hours every Friday. This is the optimal time to check in, provide updates, and ask questions. All communication will be through Telegram. I am offline Sunday-Tuesday; these are the days I recharge for the week ahead. *For All Incoming Clients:* Send a direct message to my Instagram to schedule a consultation. It can take up to 14 days for me to respond because I want to intentionally meet with you. It’s come to my awareness that this work will cross your path at a very specific time. It requires a significant amount of sacrifice within your personal and emotional reality to have a cohesive integrational experience. Speaking from my heart, this process is as heavy as it is revitalizing - it’s a journey to Respect. This is why my work is structured to be paired with a certain mindset and emotional pull that will transcend mundane reality to link with the magical essence of the Soul. If you’ve read this far and feel a resonance you cannot dismiss, know my purpose here. Until then, heed the call!

Looks a lot like states of prayer as a penny-costal. Whatever it was doing sure worked! Huge release.

Try it out! The towel is a great object to play with, you can even let it unravel and hit it against the floor or a wall. Get creative with it :) You're welcome for sharing - it's work that I love so I'm glad to look a little silly if it helps someone else feel comfortable expressing.

How often does one have to release trapped emotions to completely release them? Ive been doing trauma release exercises, not that often but it feels like there is still left a lot of anger to release. Do you recommend doing those exercises on a daily basis?

Hi Sam. Unfortunately, I don't know if there's a limit to releasing trapped emotions because we are always emoting and they build easily if we don't tend to the inner cries. However, they do neutralize with a consistent inner work practice or a lifestyle change that's formed around mindfulness if you really want to pour into yourself. You'll know you've integrated when you feel less triggered, more adaptable, and receptive, as if that emotion is no longer controlling you but you collaborate, contain, and express WITH it. You can do this practice as often as you want; it won't hurt, and you may come to see different faces of anger. Art and the gym are great outlets as well. One key component that I highly recommend and want to emphasize is that you need time for self-care. This bioenergetic exercise is hot, hard, and intense which means you need to meet yourself with cool, soft, and mellow. Be easy! A self-love evening routine will feel like a big cuddle (or hug) to the parts of you that are still burdened. Letting these parts know you don't want to get rid of what is here... but you want to care for what is here, may open the process up for greater release. I hope this helps Sam!

I really believe there's no ending, just developing higher functioning skills to meet yourself as you. Full invitation to get weird in somatic work, it's humbling to know how intuitive the body when seeking for harmony.
