Day 3 of commenting this rebuild idea: make an expansion team and follow these rules. You can take 1 player from each team but the teams get to protect their starter roster. This roster would be qb1, rb1/2, wr1/2/3, te1/2, each starter on the oline, le1, re1, dt1/2, lolb1, rolb1, mlb1/2, cb1/2/3, ss1, fs1, k1, and p1. You'll then have a 32 man roster that you can fill by signing free agents. But your team is a new team on a low budget so you can only sign free agents to 1 year deals starting preseason week 1. However you resign whichever players you want for however long you want. You can also make whatever trades you want. For the draft you let the cpu pick to spice things up. You end the vid once you win a super bowl.

i did this just for fun and i gotta say it’s a cool challenge and you can find some surprisingly good players. Ty Johnson of all people developed into a superstar RB for me.

This is how I start a franchise. I either go 10 years or 20. Get most real players out. It really evens things out. And I turn the overall draft skill down. So players aren't throwing 5000 yards as a rookie lol, so when a player is a 95 they are the top of the league. No 99s everywhere. Sliders are king to make a fun franchise that's realistic.

unironically, when i first played franchise i chose the bears, having watched rebuilds before, i had saw a guy named Junior Bishop, he looked pretty good, but i wasnt sure what was generational or not, i ended up drafting him, and on everything with seriousness, he came out the gate a 87 overall corner, and x factor, i had never seen anything like that, it made me love watching your videos and others so good job!

Every time he says “we made the playoffs” and the surprise in his voice whilst having the best overall team is hilarious

strength of schedule works for only 3 games every season. The other 14 games are already pre-determined. you play 6 games in your division, 4 vs AFC divisional matchup, 4 vs NFC divisional matchup, and then 3 other games against same position teams you wouldnt also play. If you were 1st in your division in the AFC, you would play the other 2 1st place teams in the AFC divisions and a 1st place team in an NFC division. if you were 2nd, youd play against 2nd place teams in other divisions

I wasn't sure on this channel, then I put on a video, and I can't stop watching it....subscribed. Plus, I'm a madden fan, although I play older versions of the game. I like some of the older ones features better.

Rebuild idea: start a fantasy draft and Roll a d20 to determine what position you draft then a d10 or d20 to determine which player to draft. If you roll a 20 you can choose and position or player and if you roll a 1 you must choose the worst player available.

I definitely agree there needs to be a revamp of the draft stuff. Idk why EA ever got rid of the “A+” and such. Any time I’m drafting, which is general on default settings, it’s so disappointing when I draft someone with great rating and they’re a low overall.

A fun idea may be taking a team know for their offense such as the chiefs, trading away all of their offensive weapons for picks, and then creating an insanely focused defensive team with average offensive players

If you go to the Teamsalary page and press Y or Triangle on the players you can directly restructure from there and it takes a lot less time than going to player cards, just a fun fact
