I despise the Ghana-Nigeria comparison in the music industry - M.anifest

Ghanaian rapper and singer, Kwame Ametepee Tsikata, popularly known as M.anifest says he despises the comparison of artists in the music industry especially that of Ghana and Nigeria.

    As a Naija, I see Ghanaians wey get betta sense and the ones wey no get sense and dem dey stress each other diie! Lol M.anifest good luck man. I get it, it's stupid. You all need to keep working on these people wey feel say if Nigeria is mentioned, Ghana must be recognized. Look, Ghana is in better cabin as far as tourism is concerned, have you ever heard a Nigerian talk that down? I think wherever Nigerians shine, it makes some people feel insecure.

    M.anifest makes sense with this talk of Pan-African movement currently sweeping Africa. But make no mistake, Nigerians are very protective of their music and film industry. They won’t promote somebody’s art at the expense of theirs. Ghanaians should support and promote theirs as well.

Nigerians say it’s hate when Ghanaians want to promote their own artistes and songs but yet it is the very same thing that Nigerians are doing…supporting their own artistes and listening to their own songs. That’s what is called reverse psychology.
