Love your enthusiasm about this watch! I have one and love it too. I Like the way you’ve explained the process in having it serviced. You can wear a nato slightly differently so it only has one strap under the head of the watch and not have to cut it but fair play just cutting it right off . Enjoy every minute of your new watch 👍🏻.
The real problem with nato straps isn't the extra bit under the case, it's the extra length that is super bulky even when folded over.
Cool vid. All my watches, bar one, are on natos and did this to reduce the bulk a few years ago. Just easier to slip under the cuff and yes I wear my natos with a suit for work. I found that the watch looked 'unbalanced' without the other bit or 'keeper' at the 6. It looked bulky at the 12 and slim at the 6. But if you cool with that do it as it most definitely changes the wearing experience. 👍
How come the Blake is glowing blue?????????? Should be green shouldnt it??? Mine is.

Radiation from the NATO 🤔
HEY BRENDAN, HAVE YOU EVER THOUGH ABOUT BECOMING A SURGEON!
Hi Brendan, the ciano dial lume is for the american version of Peter blake? Usually i saw it in green.
best seamaster imo! used to have the electric blue version!! however why not just buy a decent single pass nato? plenty available!
You know you can wear a nato with only one piece under the watch by putting your wrist through the loop so the second part is now under your wrist. Ah well too late now lol.
It’s what the RAF did with theirs, apparently.
Everybody still awake omg zzz
We used to do that with our Royal Navy issue watches. The real issue straps were much, much longer so you could wear the watch over a bulky sleeve up by your elbow. Easier to see quickly, no need to pull a sleeve up especially with bulky clothing and gloves and doesn't get in the way of when handling equipment. For normal wrist wear the extra length was tucked away under the metal things. We thought they were ugly but at some point they became trendy, the civilian imitations for wannabe warriors being much shorter. Colour choice was grey or grey. We didn't call them NATO straps either. Just crappy ugly straps. They probably had a NATO stock number but so did everything else including my socks. Maybe there's a market for NATO socks and underpants!
Literally the most Irish video I've ever seen.
BRENDAN.... when you make a video about cutting a Nato strap to get a better fit it makes me feel that you have already run out of things to say about watches.
