I Cut an AT-AT in Half to Make this Diorama

Decided to start the year off with a bang! In this video, I recreated a moment from Rogue One where an AT-ACT is split in half by an X-Wing at the battle of Scarif. I made the serene tropical setting with resin water, palm trees, and a Bandai AT-AT as the centerpiece of this build.

You should do a Wild Imaginary West video where explorers come across an oasis in the desert or hidden in an open top cave to use more palm trees.

I was also going to suggest a desert oasis! He could have an underwater sea monster that lures weary and dehydrated travelers for lunch.

I thought about a scene on hawaii which is technically still the US, maybe a monster shark gobbeling up some unfortenate souls that just wanted a vacation and pause from being hunted on the mainland

Just do a wild west florida man diorama
Simple, imaginative, and beautifully rendered, Boylei! And, yes, DEFINITELY do something Pirate related for a future project, (as well as more of your Wild Imaginary West, please!) Also, have you ever considered a diorama of the Galactic Empire from "Star Wars" invading Earth? Imagine an AT-AT being strafed by A-10's, or F-15's and MiG's in a scrape with TIE Fighters . . . . Thank you for sharing this with us. My 'Like' is somewhere in the 300's.

feel like missiles would be useful for the ties, and I’m not sure they carry any.
An idea for a 'bookend' diorama to match this one, would be Blue leader over water shooting at it.
@jpotter2086

An excellent pair of bookends would be the two halfs of the walker!
You could use the palm trees In a jurassic Park diorama or something similar. Love the diorama keep it up
Your dioramas never fail to impress. I love the paint job on the AT-ACT, the wave effect on the water, and the explosion. Great job once again.

I am a big fan of the Monkey Island games. You could integrate palm trees into a diorama inspired by those pirate games :)

Guybrush Threpwood? The Mighty Pirate? TM 😂😅😅
After you said “maybe something pirate themed” I immediately thought of the cannibal island from dead man’s chest! Imagine a scene like them climbing the cliff in the bone cage or the black pearl crashed on the shore! Heck maybe even the rolling water wheel mill thingy. 😂 either way keep up the builds!
@PanAndScanBuddy

If it's not an original one, the water wheel from the mill alone would present an amazing challenge. The movie loves to play with scale by having it far away in the background during sword fights. Which is awesome
Palm trees, my immediate thought was a desert island survivor, a la Robinson Crusoe. And I'm sure it'd be awesome if you could link it to the Wild Imaginary West somehow.
Perhaps a diorama of the creatures that exist in the more central american islands but in the same universe as the wild imaginary west? I would be really interested to see what kind of tropical sea creatures could dwell there :) After all Tahiti seems popular with certain cowboys.
Perfect ❤
New spin-off series idea!! Adventures in the Imaginary West Indies!
an oasis diorama would be amazing for those palm trees!
simple - so different. 🎉
Your fires look so realistic! You just do such a great job on them!
i wanna thank this channel to help me build some confidence to start doing a more creative hobby
I live in Hawaii! You tent to see palm trees spread apart, but it is common to see them in small clumps like you did in the diorama. Beautiful piece by the way! ❤
I always love your Star Wars dioramas.
Regarding the palm trees. Maybe some pirates got lost near a coast during the wild imaginary west and encountered a monster living at the shore or they happen to disturb a nice cowboy campfire set for celebrating the victory against a massive beast which lead to a fight between them. Thank you for giving us these masterpieces!! You are a true inspiration and make my evenings so delightful.
this is so awesome!! I think you could incorporate palm trees in a Vietnam war diorama! perhaps some American soldiers on a patrol through the jungle? maybe they are being stalked by an abnormally large snake? I would also like to see an avatar diorama! (avatar with the humanoid smurfs)
You really ate this up. Perfect composition. 💜
As somebody that loves Star Wars your diagrama was perfect
One of your best sir! I love AT-AC/DC’s
I find your art to be inspirational. I’m extremely new to the craft and am a fan. I look forward to seeing the story with your western world.
Very nice. And yes, Rogue One was a damn fine Star Wars movie!!
Loving the "new" humorus voice over, made me chuckle severeal times! Keep it up, great work as always
Rouge one has so much amazing inspiration! As always these models turn out great.
I first discovered you about a year ago and have watched every single video you posted. When I finally see that notification you came out with a new video, it makes me so happy. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
Wow fantastic work all the way through. I enjoy Sundays just to see what you’re up to. Great share enjoy the rest of your day 😎🫵
Maybe you could use palm trees in a wild west diorama. Like a group of men camping on the beach only to be awoken by a giant lobster. I love all the work you do Boylei.❤
Simple and Very effective....Simply Stunning...
If you do one of your Wild Imaginary Wests set in California during the time they were building missions, you could use more palm trees for that (that's when they were first introduced). San Diego de Alcala is the oldest mission, and they bred donkeys, which I imagine would be quite the draw for a(n imginary) monster sabertooth cat (which we also had, though uh, lots before the missions). I can imagine a bunch of monks scurrying around to secure the herd!
Rogue One was an awesome movie!
Your Star Wars dioramas are the best!!!
A "jurassic park" themed diorama would be a great use for more palms! Maybe the scene where the jeep is in the tree and the fence is all broken down. Could have "led hazard flashers" going on the jeep!!
how come this has no views after 1 minute of release! UNNACEPTABLE
Palm tree idea: wild imaginary west oasis
The palm trees reminded me of my favorite childhood book “Where The Wild Things Are”
Great build! And thanks for the sneak peek of your upcoming WILD IMAGINARY... PIRATE... TOWN!
Amazing how life like it looks !
Always a pleasure to watch!
Amazing outcome. Would love something like this on display in my home, if only I can afford one. Keep up the good work and I’ll keep watching 👍🏼
I agree! Rogue One is one of the best Star Wars movies since the original trilogy. Excellent work, and great for morale!
Oh a sea monster in the imaginary wild west!!! Maybe a scene on a sunny beach on the far west coast with some explorers not knowing what lies in the water beyond the sand! Perfect for those palm trees! Or even a battle!
Wow absolutely amazing
Thank you for the tipp with the leds😊
I was so happy when I saw this was the diorama for the week
Really love your humour and vids thank you for everything
A jurassic park build featuring the thatch walled toilet scene would be so cool!
Masterful work Boylei!
For a palm tree idea, you could do either a Caribbean/pirates version of the wild Wild West, or you could do like a protagonists’ vacation trip/ retreat and do a whole bunch of heroes in a tropical theme?
Rogue One is also my favorite movie outside of the trilogies! Awesome diorama!!
Well done Boylei, you have fantastic taste on Star Wars. We don't talk about the other six dumpster fires. Ooo new diorama idea, AT-AT shaped like giant dumpsters on fires to depict those we shall not acknowledge 😀
Absolutely incredible as always. What if you did a little oasis scene for the weird west. You could have some sand skivs resting at the edges of the desert where a small oasis has formed from a terrifying looking but actually pretty friendly monster.
A pirate diorama would be a great video! And would include the palm trees.
My first thought for use of palm trees took me back to childhood and Thunderbirds with the trees moving for Thunderbird 2. Alternatively, yes pirates.
When you can make such a simple diorama look Soo good you're a Pro. You Really have Serious Skills.😎👍💯
Yes! Defintely something pirate! (Pirates of the Caribbean meets Wild Imaginary West!)
Ah ha, How about a SKULL diorama with A Almost Buried Treasure! With a Western Theme Like All your Other COOL Dioramas!! Love The water Effects!!!! Thanks For Your Craftyness!
Fantastic as usual. Although they are all interdependent, Rogue One (and the Andor series) is by far my favorite, too. 😎😎
That AT&T came out awesome!
6:30 Love it. Grew up on the Gulf Coast of Florida, moved to KY in May. I like the light yellow on top. Kinda doubles as a glare ✨
Brilliant, as usual! Well done!
Excellent! Rogue One - the best Star Wars movie EVER!! Would you be able to make a diorama of Jyn and Cassian on the beach with death rolling towards them? That would be so awesome!
Pirates versus uncontacted tribal people!!!!! Maybe the pirates could be running from arrows and spears. I think that would be a fun video. And a good way to show off them palms.
please make more star wars dioramas , these are great
Rogue One is my favorite Star Wars movie
Another amazing build! Maybe you could do a WIW diorama with palm trees if the travelers can make it to California and see the Pacific Ocean with some WIW pirates or sea monsters. Love your vids!
Beautiful work! For a suggestion for more palm tree diorama, maybe pirates raiding Easter Island? Complete with a monstrous Easter Bunny because Fun.
Its so realistic looking 😲
I mean this in the very best way but your videos always make me sleepy, often I just fall asleep watching them. They put me at ease, so soothing and comforting.
A cool technique I saw to create them were cutting up some craft store feathers into the leaf shape, and then airbrush them various shades of green. And using a metal armature roll some air dry clay to do the bark structure on them. Finally for that weird fuzz they have on the top of the tree mixed in with the leaves. Some Ak interactive sea grass works well for those fibers. Once you add them all together and paint them up they make a decent representation of palm trees.
Jungle theme = more palm trees and ❤ the channel
its been a while since I've watched you but glad your still putting out the same old great models
The fact you know the difference is why I subscribe. Also palm trees could lead to some pretty great Florida man diorama’s
Fantastic as always ❤
Man Star Trek is so cool
Awesome build! Pirates of the carribean where he's stuck on the island would be cool.
Gorgeous diorama! Love the AT-ACT! Great craftsmanship! Thank you for sharing !

Its an AT-AT in the diorama
A medium sized pirate ship that is firing four cannons at the beach with a weird monster on it. You could put the palm trees around it and maybe one getting hit my a cannonball. I love your videos.
love the look of this!
Oh man, you crack me up every episode. Your commentary and on-screen asides every week are priceless. It’s a joy to watch and listen to...
Would absolutely LOVE something pirate related. Maybe a shipwreck on an island?? Love the content, keep it up!
Outstanding build, video and presentation.
You The Man, Sweet. Never feel bummed out after your podcasts.
Palm trees accuracy!
we need some Pirates of the Caribbean dioramas! great wayto integrate palm trees and i think a lot of people would love to see it. love the videos by the way
Rouge one is my favourite Star Wars film :D
„To demonstrate the power of FlexTape, I sawed this AT-AT in half!“
6:22 my genuine, imeditate, outloud reaction; *gasp* "PIRATES!"
Once you finish the Wild Imaginary West universe town, you should make a pirate themed universe. Maybe with flying ships, and pirate submarines, or something like that. I think it would be a great sequel to the Imaginary West.
So ridiculously cool
Desert road warrior for the palm tree suggestion.
The Wild Imaginary West Caribbean!!!
pirate ship battle would look awesome!
WOW! This was awesome! May I suggest some warg riders from The Hobbit? Maybe a giant cliff scene with the thirteen dwarves and a couple trees.
Great build (as always) ❤ 🔥 Palm tree pirate idea: either pirates coming across a loot chest that turns out to be a mimic chest. Palm trees as an added detail. Or Pirates fighting a palm tree mimic monster defending some booty Love what you do man ❤
it looks amazing
This is giving me my happy thoughts and sunny vibes, even though something is getting completely annihilated.
Totally awesome
