Hi Silas , I would guess that people just leave stuff outside yr gate ? My old cj was a 4.25 litre straight six with 3 fwd and 1reverse ( hi/lo 4wd/2wd) was best tool on the farm 😊
Haha i love your attitude, Silas. Dont deal with time wasters. If they really wanted to save these cars they'd save them. Give 'em the big squeeze!!!!

Like he always says, " away it goes!"
As an old towmotor/forklift driver, I enjoy seeing you using that 621C like a surgeon's scalpel! Using heavy equipment like that (and doing it well) is an art form.
Sad that so many people have forgotten a couple of applicable adages. 'Actions speak louder than words', & ' Money talks, bullshit walks'.
Don’t feel bad about crushing them all. They’re your cars, if they wanted them they could’ve bought them to start with. I’m pretty much given up on selling on marketplace, too many scammers, people wasting my time, they want me to throw in delivery or give it to them. It’s just not worth it. I am just a part time reseller, I pretty much just sell on eBay now. If they want it, they pay and I ship it out. I’m happier and the buyers seem to be better as well. Thanks for sharing your time and adventures. Peace
Silas, man, we really enjoy your content over here in Western PA! I have never seen a man so dedicated, and hard working. You are an inspiration to individuals everywhere who want to get into the 'yard' business.
15:37 Had a '73 Polara wagon once, it was good to me until I got on the right side of a right turnin semi. Ahh, those sure weren't the good ole days. Stayin tuned 👍🤠
It’s a great day when Silas is having fun! Doing something with an adventure every day is your best advice ever!!!
Silas is going a great jop. He does wait at times for people to buy parts, but they do not come most of the time. So to go for the money, he crushes!!!
I did a Derek from VGG today. I thought, I wonder what Silas is doing today..... Sure enough, he's uploaded a new video. The day is complete 😄❤👍
26:51 Will it crush? Of course it will but let's do it anyway. Fun for the entire family! 👍😉
Silas that back half of the car could be a really cool camper. You could use the back door on either side to get in and out and then basically modify the trunk area for storage. It would be a pretty cool little pull behind.
A center hook/claw on the loader would work great for those truck beds 😊
Remember back in 80's when it was cool to have the hood ornament of a mercedes or cadillac as a key chain
@brian56

Or stuck on the hood of some piece of junk that wasn't a Mercedes!
Ah! I wish i had know about those lock boxes.. I would of been interested in them. Especially the hinges. Next time maybe.
Cleaning Up Your Tires - He was of Great Help ! Crushing Cars and the HUMMER - wow ! You had a very Busy Day - Great Video and many Cheers from Australia !!!!
100% agreed. If i agree to meet someone to sell parts at 4pm, I will literally have to change my entire day around this, just for the person not to show up. It literally ruins your entire day.
As always silas excellent cheers 🥂 😊
They always say they will show up UNTIL THEY TELL THEIR WIVES!
This must be the History channel.... Silas is wearing insulated Carhartts and there's no leaves on the trees.. but we're seeing this in mid-May. LOL,
I understand how you feel, its a business. I enjoy watching your videos.
Silas yo a bad ass one man gang God bless you and your wife on this mother's day
Your place is looking a lot better. Keep up the great work, my friend. You can only keep stuff so long. Then it start costing you money. I have been watching your channel for a couple of years.
I like ❤the new crusher and you loading the trucks
Silas got his aerobic points today!
Dang been looking for an old ice box. To have it shipped here to NC would have been prohibitive tho
9:47 ,RIP Deadwoo Daewoo, Rust In Pieces 😁
Silas, Thank Youvery much for the entertaining video. The forks on your loader are like a pair of hands and you manipulate it so well for multiple tasks in the scrap yard/ People have no right to be critical of your operation because doing your part to clean up local farms and properties . Also a major portion of this crushed cars ,tires and rims get recycled instead of being dumped and buried in a landfill.
Silas you still have the Chevette. That is funny!

It’s been gone for a while actually. I recorded every day when I had the crusher there, and as a result I got a backlog of material to edit.
Wow that's crazy. That tail light looked like it hopped off of that Hummer and said, "Not Today'
2:18 ,that dozer is dozing on the jobsite 💤
I would like to wish your wife a happy mother's Day too😊
Good Afternoon There My Good Big Bro Silas Of Adventure Made From Scratch
42:07 ,what a bummer for the Hummer ,no biggie, wasn't a H1 or H2 & just a H3
I look at it this way. They are your cars, do to them whatever you wish.
Something I would like to see is how you pull an engine out of a car and also when you drain the fluids, you’ve never showed us that and what you do with them
@AdventuresMadeFromScratch

Salis fantastic as always enjoyed every minute of the video great job thank you for sharing and your time
Missed oportunity Silas , you should have played a tune on the piano with the loader forks .
Like your attitude!! Tell it, tell it. Enjoyed
Place is looking good, the new crusher looks like it takes no prisoners, re the GMC body, you should have done a deal and given the guy one of your scrap cars in exchange perhaps, have a good day from NZ.

I like your office it looks really nice inside there I love your videos I would love to come over to your ranch to look at your cars and just hang out
Abosolutly good day at Work Thanks Mate
Very busy video Silas
Howdy Silas, How are you today? Thanks again for another great video. I also have those days when nothing seems to work, or things don't function as they should. And yes, that is very frustrating. I enjoyed your video, and look forward to the next one again. I wish you a very happy day/week. 🚗🙂👍
Hey! Another great episode! Peace Bro!
Happy Mother day Peace out
Thanks Silas, I saw a lot of older footage, well I know it's old as the Chevette was still there!! My mom had one and it was always breaking down, so I don't really have any fond memories about it! I'm still trying to sell a split window vw bus, getting messed around so much with dreamers and lowballers, I wish I lived closer so I could borrow your crusher!! It's a good thing you have Shawn to help sell things, as fb can be such a waste of time!

This is the most recent footage I have put on KZread actually
So alot of people in Kansas don't stick to their word, sounds like people here in Florida
I like the 80s model Ford box truck the white one next the old blue Ford pickup your saving for the engine core
Silas I like you keep up your good work im British like your videos you are great
You could do a non returnable deposit on parts/cars people want that way if it's a no show you don't lose out.
Silas that is a 1973 Dodge Polara, a lot of Police car collectors would love to have that 71 through 73 are interchangeable, And somebody might want to make a Clone cop car out of it. Watch the original walking tall ithad 1972s in Also the movie dirty Mary crazy Larry, All the black and white patrol cars were 72 Dodge Polaras, The only difference between the 71 to 73 is the most piece rear bumper and Tail lights.
Silas, the hardest working KZreadr!
Yes Sir!!!
Good morning from New Zealand you must sell a lot of truck fronts for man caves
You sure do a lot of hand work moving stuff around and I dont mean with the loader. Thanks for the video
Silas, its looks like you are have some problems loading cars on the trucks after you moved out of the jard, its seems like you needs about 10 inches to getting over the edge of the sides, maybe its just me i don't know 😀
Hey Silas, when you send the aluminum rims with the tire what are you averaging per rim. Here in nj I get a fair price.
13:28 nice dodge coronet. If i just had the money i would buy it from you.
You even have an old ringer washer there too it would be really cool if it works
It's safe to say that safe ain't safe in a EZ Crusher & now in a VW 😆
must be a strainer, i know a lot of tractors have them. then down the line would be the actual filter.
How much for the '50 Maytag? 16:01 👍🤪
Do you have a Ford Focus zxw Wagon 2000 to 2006? I've been watching all your videos and haven't seen one yet they're hard to find. And you should build some kind of shelter for your loader to keep it out of the weather
Love the cliffhanger. It was satisfying watching the hummer bite the big one. I agree as far as listing things for sale. Not worth the hassle half the time. Between low ball offers. People wanting a discount because they have to drive 20 miles. It gets old real quick. Ebay isn't much better. After they take out their fees. There is no profit to be made.
Time for a hyd heater for those cold days
Your helper looks like my Brother.....if he's like him at all He's awesome 😎
What did that Hummer do to you BrotatoChip?
i loved the longer video
This old bull dozer is really cool looking it looks to be in really good condition
Not only can we not save everything, there is so so much that should not be saved. I remember working in a smaller scrapyard in the 90's, we did mostly crushing and it was very annoying to sell parts then too.
As always love the video and thanks for the journey. How do they unload them trailers with the crushed cars? I apologize if you have already answered that once or 100 times
Love the comments on the R109 SL. "It's worth so much money." I can only assume they, in fact, know nothing about the collector car market. The R109 is so common in good condition that rough ones aren't wanted, especially as the restoration costs outweigh the final value. And 'parts cars' aren't really a thing because pretty much everything is available brand new from Mercedes Classic.
Drill a hole in / and attach a chain to each truck bed box chain it to forks then it will not go in bin. A little extra work. Two minutes extra work saves five minute cursing trying to get truck be out of dumpster. PS. saves you bit of fuel ha ha good for your commercial. Hello from Canada .
@AdventuresMadeFromScratch

Normally it’s not a problem. I dump beds hundreds of times a year with no issue
You should try & see what those F-250 badges would bring or maybe Mercedes hood ornaments. Be safe. Hello from Michigan.
8:38. This shot looks colorized! I e you kept the forklift yellow, but made the rest in black & white. A portal to the past?
I would love to see the old dodge cornet and the amc
👍👍👍👍👍
The only thing Hummer in that Hummer is the name Hummer on it
I can't believe you scratched Scrappy the smasher...Stay safe Silas
What a bunch of flakes, bunch of ghosts!
You, sir, are a virtuoso with a payloader.
I would truly relocate my entire life to come work in your yard
Now I see semi trucks are bagging cars when hauling big plastic bags haven't seen that before
Case tractor ❤
Sometimes you are the windshield……..sometimes you are the BUG😁😜
fun
You should make a video about the "art" you do and explain more about it.
What about the old cat skid steer
Woe wait a minute, was that an old refrigerator you crushed on top of that Volkswagen in the opening of this video
At 13:45 sec you took a car off a trailer was that car a Dodge Monaco ? I had a 1977 version but it was a a old moms car handle down I was more than happy to have it don't get me wrong but you don't see a lot of them similar to the the cop cars on Dukes Of Hazard ! The one I had blinkers on the front part of the fenders where you could see them when turned on seated 6 legally 8 back then when no one cared I was in high school we would pack them in and go off campus for lunch!! Maybe on or 2 in the trunk lol
Cool i did painted x s to driving one i put on x and save from crusher 1967 ve valiant it need four doors still has small fork dent in roof
Those altima ser wheels you can sell
Wish I lived closer I would buy both them 2 door Cherokees I’ve heard the 2 door doors are worth a good amount
I let Iron Trap Garage know you had that 30s ford. Hope it isnt smushed yet.
Sweet cooler crush........................
