I crossed the border with Bosnia Herzegovina

Bosnia Herzegovina is one of those countries famous only for the worst sides of its history. I went to experience it first hand in order to redeem its sad fame and learn about its culture, landscape and people.

I am from East Bosnia and now I live in USA for over 23 years. I used call people crazy when they hunt for nature like green mountains, waterfalls, caves and so on. After 10 years in the city I started to feel like they do. Big cities are like prison with extra space all you can see is boring buildings outside the window

I can watch this video forever. What a shame, Mary Jane, that this beautiful country was torn by war. Who would ever have thought that this was one of the most breathtaking corners of the world. Definitely not me. It's unimaginable that a country that was once torn apart was able to maintain such beauty. It's a true testament to the resilience of mother nature. That thick fog, the pouring rain, that breathtaking waterfall, I was completely mesmerised. You two may not have been thrilled about that grey, dreary weather, but trust me when I say, it made for some magical videography. Just wow. And I agree with you 100%. Let's not say it too loud because I am in Canada and I have to support our tourist attractions, but Niagra Falls has nothing on these stunning waterfalls which I cannot even begin to pronounce the name. Thank you, MJ and Fabio, for taking me there. A true hidden gem. One of your best vlogs honestly! Bravo! 👏👏👏 The unplanned roadtrips are always the BEST roadtrips, don't you agree? ☔❤❤🌨

Julie thank you so much for this thoughtful comment! You're right about the rainy weather effect on the videography: it made the images magical. And it was perfect for filming because we were literally the only two people there! The unplanned roadtrips are definitely always the best 😊 Thanks again for commenting ❤️

It's pronounced Schtrbachki buuuk 😂....And all of you who finds this video scenery interesting and mesmerizing, should visit this place Štrbački buk,and places like waterfall Kravice, waterfall Koćuša (Kochusha), waterfall in Jajce city, and so many other natural beauty places throughout the country, meet its beautiful people, enjoy the food, hospitality of people and all those vibrant colours of Bosnian nature, but probably from April to middle of August when the weather is great and everything is much more colourful and bright, but be careful of the heat.

As a Bosnian, now living in Austria, I feel ashamed that I still didn't visit this waterfall, maybe because it's not in the proximity of my hometown (Tuzla). But it's on my list for sure! I appreciate very much that you discovered and shared this (just one of many) gem of my country. Even if Italy also has many, many gems. Your enthusiasm reminds me of my own when I climbed Mt. Vesuvius for the first time a couple months ago, also with a bad weather. :) I wish you all the best and so many good videos! Cheers! :)

U drive out of Sarajevo and you pull into a petrol station you see a smiling Putin grinning at you. Yes, the Serbs have been trying to destroy Bosnia and its Muslim population for a long time. In the last attack on Bosnia, the Croats also helped them in this. Serbs and Croats hate each other immensely, but they are united in their hatred of Bosnia and its Muslim population. Serbs are a Russian copy in the Balkans. Serbs are a small nation and as such they are not a threat to Europe. But Europe tolerates them because it tries to destroy the Bosnian Muslim population with their help. European fascism is still alive and working against Bosnia.

Bosna is undiscovered place for tourists and that is purposely done but internet is game changer. After famous and with marketing pushed "Plitvice" people are saying WOW when they see Una. Nicest colors you can see is of course is on the summer. Besides that, there is lot of places in whole country to visit... Thanks for the compliments 👍

River Una performs it's unique dance and symphony ! People in Bosna speak Bosanski language not Serbski ! Bosna is correct but not Bosnia ! Bosna got it's name from water. In old Indo-European language BOSANA meant WATER .. From Bosana through centuries became a word Bosna. The oldest European language is Indo-European language. In that language Bosana = VODA.
