This was so hard to watch. To know and see his lifetime of performances all rolled into this performance, his last live performance before he left this world. That man was truly a one of a kind all around loving, caring, generous, beautiful soul who just wanted everyone to love and care as he did and make a difference in this world! God Bless you Elvis Presley!!!

I've cried to this song lots of times, but this time I cried because of your reaction to this moment. It was just six weeks before he past away. He was really sick, but his voice never failed him. It's powerful. He would have been 88 years of age yesterday. The sky took him too soon. I've seen his poor daughter Lisa Marie make a little speech for his birthday outside of what was their home, Graceland. Lisa lost her father at only nine years old and it's just the saddest tragedy. Elvis never believed he would be remembered and struggled a lot with that. We can only hope he knows how much he affected this world after he left. Discovering and watching Elvis, learning about him today, is keeping this man and his gift alive. I listened to Elvis back in high school, but it's only this past year at age 26 I got into his life story and went down the same road you are walking right now. Honoured to share this journey. Incredibly genuine reactions.

My brother, I’m 53 years old, and I’m not ashamed that this man’s voice, passion and soul has left me speechless, in awe, and in tears throughout my lifetime. He is the greatest we’ve ever seen, and may not see again. Great reaction. I’m so glad our younger generation is rediscovering Elvis. Enjoy your journey, my friend. It’s going to. E great. If you want to hear some more of Elvis at the piano, I would suggest 1967’s “You’ll Never Walk Alone”. My favorite version is take one. That is Elvis on the piano. This song is what led up to Elvis rediscovering his passion for music. We know what happened in 1968. And, the rest is history. Elvis also played piano on some of his 1971 Nashville Sessions. I love the undubbed versions and various takes. Check out “It’s Still Here” and “I Will Be True”. Just Elvis playing the piano and singing his heart out.

Jane H commenting ….. I find this so hard to watch, & I always end up crying, knowing how much Elvis was struggling health wise. He was short of breath, yet he still managed to do a spellbinding performance & that voice was so powerful. His final performance before passing away just 8 weeks later. My dear Elvis, you thought you would be forgotten. How very wrong you were. 47 years since you left us, but you are still loved so much, & a whole new generation is re-discovering you & enjoying your music. You won’t ever be forgotten. This was the Righteous Brothers song, but Elvis did a recording of it, which they would have been pleased about, as they would have got the royalties off every record of Elvis’ that sold, & that would have been a Lot. Elvis usually contacted singers when he wanted to record their songs, & I imagine they were happy about that, because Elvis sold more records than any other singer.

I don't think that there is one song Elvis couldn't sing and give it his own touch. Every song he sang sounded like it was his own song. The power and emotion he puts in every song, makes it his own. It feels like they were all written for him. The way he sings this song and adds a personal touch to it is over whelming. So far, no one can match him.

1:58 He's only three or four years older than a lot of the stuff you've reacted to from him, in Vegas and in Hawaii, but he had had some health issues and also they just had him on so many drugs by then, to put them to sleep to wake him up to get him to the show. And it's a shame they didn't really need to do that, but it's a highly controversial subject. But anyway, a lot of what you're seeing here he's not as lost as he sounds, he's a little bit high, but of course all that goes away whenever he starts singing, but I think he had just done a really strenuous number right before this and he was buying time to get his breath back, and a lot of that was meant kind of as humor, mostly within the band but to anyone in the audience that was familiar. And you notice it takes him awhile for his breathing to calm down but strangely, when he starts to hit the first really hard part in the song, vocally, suddenly breath is no longer an issue for him and he's got this incredible breath control and long phrasing with Incredible nuance. This is just weeks before he died, and it's just so poignant knowing what is about to happen, but everything I have seen from this show, and I don't think I've seen all of it but I've seen a whole bunch of it, to me just tells me that he was becoming more and more masterful of a singer literally right up until the day he died. His singing in this show to me is shockingly more advanced than it was with the stuff we see from 1973 in Hawaii just four years before. Blows me away.

He had so many medical problems and part of what was going on was he at times tried to medicate his symptoms to relieve his pain and suffering. Many times people have thought he was just using prescription drugs but he actually was trying to treat his problems independently of physicians at times. Yes, he had a addiction to a number of prescription drugs but the reason had to do with his multiple medical problems. And he kept a lot of it secret. Even his doctors half the time didn’t know what was going on with him. But I loved this guy, still do- he was so talented. So generous. So philanthropic. So one of a kind. He’s unmatched by anyone. It pains me to watch him struggle to breathe but he still delivers an exceptional performance here. But he leaves many of us in tears. Austin Butler weeps every time he has watched this performance.

Great reaction (from the heart) bro. 👍 This Elvis performance would bring a tear to a glass eye. In 73 Elvis performed a concert in Honolulu, the “Aloha from Hawaii” concert. It was the first gig (by any artist) to be beamed (live via satellite) all around the world, this was a big deal. Do yourself a favour and check it out. I recommend songs like “You Gave Me A Mountain” & “American Trilogy” from the concert. It’s about as good as it gets. Thanks, from Ireland. 🙏🏻

I cry everytime I watch this. It's amazing seeing it bring tears to your eyes and you didn't even know he died so soon afterwards. This was his last performance❤❤❤😢😢😢

Greatest till the end. Been watching this concert over 35 years and it still brings tears. There is nothing sadder than this performance except for long black limousine his funeral procession. Give it a look. It shows how much Elvis meant to his fans and to the world. Thanks for a great reaction and thanks for keeping Elvis alive. He was truly amazing
