The rare “cool” trail that I have no interest in ever trying. I’m old enough that I’ll never do most of them anyway, but I wish I could ride stuff like Whistler and Kamloops or even Poison Spider, but this one doesn’t appeal to me at all. Good job conquering your fear though. My 50th thing was a half marathon in Hawaii (which I had to limp through with a pulled hamstring.)

Been out there a few times just walking it !!! It’s scary just walking it !! And with all the people watching you from Chicken Point it’s even more scary !!! I first went on it at 59 years young…. And I want to make it to 60 !!! Keep up the great stuff !!! Bob from the Sedona area !!!!

That is some of the best footage of that trail, showing the perspective of how steep it is. I haven't ridden it but have looked up at it from Chicken Point after riding the Pigs Loop and Highline. It's a steeper drop off than it shows on video but your footage and drone shots do the best job I ve seen

Jeff, happy 50th birthday! You completed your rite of passage. Unlike all the other videos I've seen on this, yours fits into your theme of constantly giving guidance and instruction to others-- even while riding it. I can't say that this is the most wise location to provide guidance for others. It was definitely unique that you did it six or seven times. That seems par for the course, knowing you are a trials guy. I suppose you can cross that off the list, but your comments about your comfort level after having done it, concern me that you would go back and attempt it again with confidence that can only get you in trouble. I'd say this video was enough. Glad to see you survived and hope you don't bother with it again. I'd much rather continue to watch your adventures than hear about your "last" adventure. I met you in Sedona and rather not learn that is where you met death. Thanks for sharing.

That trail is insane. I have a bucket list of trails I want to ride and this one is not on it. Lol. Well done...of course I expected nothing less. 😀

That turn and those rolls look ridiculously steep. Props for taking a hardtail out there.

I want to ride in Sedona one day, but White Line is not nor will never be on my list of trails to try. I am 54 yrs old, but I don't have near the skills you do. The scariest trail I have ridden is Portal Loop in Moab back in 1994 by myself. I would try that one again if I ever make it back to Moab.

well done jeff! i tried to walk it a while back… and everything was fine until my brain rapidly started cycling through all the death-scenarios! i’m not even close to bringing my bike up there

Been there once, we looked at it an turned around....... I got queasy watching you walk on it!! Regardless there are lots of fun trails for the less brave LOL.

Mint! Way to put some proper perspective on that skid turnaround section. I felt my back on that last section hardtail compression. Happy belated!!

“And then I rode it over and over…” Think maybe there’s something in there on how to up one’s game…. Hardtail a nice touch. Maybe on the road bike next for real cred? Beautiful scenery of course …

It was a good idea to have the spotter until you got more comfortable. Congrats. I’m ok with never trying it. It’s super scary looking when you are actually there.

My palms sweat when I watch videos of this trail and others with a lot of exposure. Not sure why I chose mountain biking and snowboarding as my main hobbies with a fear of heights. I shake when putting my board on when it’s steep but I have no issues once I drop in.
