This lady hit the reselling nail on the head! "They're only worth what people will pay." I say this ALL THE TIME and people don't seem to get it. I see people on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace selling items for WAY more than they're worth all the time. Sometimes I'll shoot them a message and suggest they do some research on eBay to get a better idea of what they're selling. A lot of people will respond "I know what I have!" Ok, well you're going to have it for a long time! It's like art. If a piece of art is valued at a million bucks and then sells for 5 million, that art is now worth 5 million, because that's what someone was willing to pay for it. If they go to resell it, the starting price would now be 5 million. That's reselling 101.

It only bothers me when price isnt listed and they highball you with a firm price when you ask.

The lady's laugh at 04:10 was creepy! 😱 and I thought it was kind of weird that they went from $175 down to FIFTY! Sounds to me like they knew EXACTLY what they were trying to sell you for $175. 🤔How very strange. SMH But, you got a heck of a deal. Hopefully it won't cost too much to repair the top Ovations are awesome guitars!

That lady was so sweet. She had a story for every item, but knew she was ready to part with it. It can be so difficult letting go. Ugh I want that brass boot💗

It really isn’t that hard to parallel park, you just need to be taught right. Go to an open parking lot ( like a school). Set up two markers (cones), place them one in front and one in back, the length apart as if it were where you want to park. Slowly pull forward as if there is a parked car in front of the space you are going to park in. Act like you are pulling up along side of a vehicle. Stop! Put your vehicle in reverse. With your foot on the break crank your wheels almost all the way and slowly back into the spot while slowly uncranking your wheels to straighten them out. If you are back to far… just pull forward with your wheels straight. WaaaLaaa… you did it! Practice several times…. Practice makes perfect

Sometimes you just never know what you will walk into at a garage/yard sale. When I put my "crap" out at my own yard sales, it's no longer of use to me. I know I'm making the day of maybe a few people. LOL I figure, if it will help make a few bucks for someone else, I'm good with that. I never put out WOW stuff. That I sell myself on Ebay!

I made those stuffed Christmas trees for gifts early in my married years when we didn't have lots of money to buy gifts for everyone. I probably made 10-15 of them around 1980.
