It's been more than a year but I just wanted to say that watching Ryan always refills my hope for humanity. I think the meaning of life is what you forge to be happy, and Ryan clearly has done that, for himself, his freinds, family, strangers, and even Dr. Phil. All of this, without a grandpa, but with a role model.

Honestly I think Dr Phil actually prepared his answer for the grandpa question, but what Ryan had got so far from Dr Phil... the milestones.. the words.. outweighed getting Dr Phil to adopt him. So congrats Ryan! We are all proud of you, don't be sad (I don't have a grandpa neither)🥲

Innocent enough question, what's it mean to not have a grandpa? My grandma on my dad's side died before I was born, but she's still my grandma. What does it mean? Just didn't know who he was? I really wish he explained he didn't have a grandpa and actually asked Dr. Phil. He needs a redemption arc now because all the buildup... man. He's got to.

I love that Dr. Phil actually met Ryan he deserves it, and I also heard that Dr. Phil is totally fine with Ryan being his grandson and thinks it is a very normal thing with nothing wrong with it. He told me I swear!
