I have the Spanx and Amazon alternative. the quality and feel of the Spanx is definitely better. I find the test is how the clothing wears over time. The Spanx pants are also great quality. Liverpool has slightly cheaper flares that are also great. The dupes are all thin fabric and don't fit as well.

Wow. Love all the comparisons I’d probably go for all the dupes to be honest with you. Who would know the difference between them unless they seen the logos or tags. I’m all in for saving money ❤

this was excellent. I'm 5'2", and you're right....being able to buy a petite size is worth spending the extra money sometimes. Otherwise no...I am fine with the cheaper option.

Agree I’m 5’ . 110lbs and usually nothing on Amazon ever works for me .. even the extra smalls .. I usually always go to Express but over the last couple years w the Economy can’t always afford it ..

Uggs’s strong selling point is you can go sockless and it won’t get smelly even after years of use. Most copies, I’ve been there, will get smelly within a year.

Have to disagree on the J Crew cardigan vs Amazon. No way the Amazon is better quality. I tried both and the J Crew has a much better fit and quality.

Sorry but most of the Amazon look a-likes are pretty janky. I’m not an Amazon hater - 14 year Prime Member. When it comes to fashion though, spend extra and buy less. The Free People sweater dress has a nicer shade and it has a more graceful sweep around the ankles. The Amazon looks a bit potato bag at the ankles. Plus the sleeves have nicer proportions on the Free People. The Forever 21 jacket looks great. I’m an advocate of Forever 21 over H&M, Zara. Fun fashionable and lots of sales and clearance. I suggest saving up for Uggs. They truly last longer and the build in areas you can’t see are done very well. They will last 2-3X longer plus no smelly feet. The Varley’s lapel has nicer proportions and structure. Can be used with black or white dress pants or mid skirt. So much nicer. PS. You look so darn cute in the copper Spanx sweatsuit. It’s 10x prettier.

While I totally agree about trying not to buy the fast fashion esp. from Amazon, I have two of these comparisons and I think you are wrong on a few of these. The bear paws are more comfortable for my foot shape and last just as long as my uggs. I have both the FP and forever 21 quilted jackets and I promise they are the exact same fabric. I don’t think any one company always has the better stuff anymore.

Compare all you want. The Amazon quality is NOT the same as Spanx quality. You get what you pay for. I prefer QUALITY over Amazon most of the time😊😊😊

Yup you get what you pay for. I’m not saying go out and buy a couture shirt for $1,500. But spend extra so you don’t have to buy so many things. My fiancé was always buying handbags in the $100-400 range. I told her why not get something you really love and be proud of. So we went to Louis Vuitton and bought an Alma PM and matching strap for $2,400. The strap was a bit overpriced at $475 but it completed it. That was 3 years ago and she hasn’t had a hankering for another bag since. Objectively I think we broke even over the last 3 years because she loves her LV bag and hasn’t bought another bag since. In 2-3 years she may want a Chanel bag and I support it when the time comes.

I own several Varley pieces and got a dupe set from Amazon and was blown away by the quality. Sometimes, it doesn’t make sense to spend more if the quality is there both places. ❤

The way you film doesn’t show fabric up close and film when it’s on you so far away. Like what you choose just wish I could see the items up close.
