Man seriously, when I was between 6-8 years old watching Lachlan, Preston, and everyone else involved in the Pokémon era it was a massive vibe. I reckon that was my true childhood.

the old card art is so pretty, all of them being hand drawn really shows the dedication of the time not only for pokemon but for all animation being a really unique

The card shop that went on the grind for you is soo good, was in there a few months back and the prices they ask are surprisingly reasonable, just wished i thought to ask about back stock too. Good video, cool to see some of those older card arts once again.

you can tell someone doesnt collect cards when they dont sleeve them before going into the binder haha

You should use clear transparent sleeves for your cards. Even though it's encased in a binder, it's good practice to ensure no damage is done to the cards

I'm working on getting the original 151 as well. Base set, Jungle set, Fossil set and Base set 2. Finally collected all commons, uncommons and rares and slowly working on holos but don't have any of the starters since they're crazy expensive.

Thanks for the content. Managed to complete Master sets of english Base, Fossil, Jungle and Rocket over the last two years. My childhood is quite proud of adult me 😁

Hate how most people just disregard the common cards, thanks Lachlan for giving them away instead of either reselling them for practically nothing or just throwing them out.

This was a very tuff challenge but I am so happy that you did it. You made all of our childhood come true
