Yeah, I'm a Lala and I have decided not to even unlock Bozja. There is nothing there for me save the story and I keep getting murdered by the robots at one story point, so forget it. I'd rather 100% Eureka, which has far worse battle mechanics. ;p

I gotta say seeing your character on horseback, wearing that hat, riding across the empty bozjan wastelands in the afternoon sun, the general predicament it really reminded me of Don Quixote.

I grinded this to get the bike because I couldnt stop laughing at how funny it looks on lalafells, it never fails to cheer me up

Hey Cider, regarding your stream quality, I don't know if your PC is strong enough to do a separate recording while streaming. If so here are some settings I would recommend you using in OBS: 1. Set Output Mode to Advanced 2. Recording Format: .mkv 3. Video Encoder: Anything that is GPU Based (If you are streaming with CPU Encoding) 4. Audio Track: I check all boxes for more flexibility 5. Rescale Output to 1080p 6. Experiment with Encoder Settings, but here are my recommendations: Encoder Settings: 1. Rate Control: CQP 2. CQ Level: 30 (Play around with this value, depending on your PCs/GPUs strengths 3. Keyframe Interval: 1s 4. Preset: Quality I hope this will help you having better "stream recording quality". Thanks for the awesome series, since I am an achievement hunter myself in all games I play, I really love the struggle you face with some of these achievements! Keep up the good work!

I cleared out leve allowances that were building up, and picked up With Hammer in Hand III, With Steel in Hand III, With Pan in Hand III, With Saw in Hand III, and With Skin in Hand III. Turns out, I left all of these 1 leve away from the achievement last time. Also picked up The Customer is Always Right: Anden IV while doing weekly custom deliveries, and got enough Causality to grab Well-oiled: Amazing Manderville Revolver. That's it for this week.

Damn that's quite the advances on the crafting field.

Regarding your stream recordings - depending on what you're using to stream, you can record the output direct to disk at the same time as streaming to twitch. The recording to disk will be what your broadcast software sees, which should be much better than the twitch vod! The only problem there is storage capacity. Hope this helps!

I remember when this was new and cannot overstate how quickly my lala friend decided they didn't care about the mount as soon as we saw a lala on it. Saved themselves a hellish grind, but alas FF12 was my first FF and I **needed** that goddamn bike. I think it was the only mount I used for like, a week, once I got it. Grats on the modicum of freedom!

Considering that FFXII has a lot of paralells to Star Wars, it means that Fran is literally Sexy Chewbacca.

I won all the duels a long time before I was done with all the relics and 50 dalriada runs, so I never got frustrated because I felt like I was wasting time. I ended up wasting time by doing 500 critical engagements in southern front alone before the second zone was out.

I remember wanting to ride the hoverbike as a kid playing FF12 for the first time so even though I'm now well aware of the obvious design flaws as an adult, for the sake of nostalgia, I had to have it even if it meant doing the Duels that was basically Savage difficulty for solo instances

SO hype for two videos a week! It's like double Christmas, but better!!

I have some advice for Lyon 2, which I only learned after getting wiped by caged heart of nature multiple times. The safe spot from the exaflares is dead center of the expanding earth aoe. That means when you're dodging the earth aoe rings, if you run into the very centre of where it started, you can plant yourself there and the exaflares won't get you. This is true for both good and bad pattern, bad pattern just requires you to pace your first run-in to not get hit by the first expanding wave. I hope this helps!

I love this mount so much ESPECIALLY on lala, when i first got it i legit considered joining the mad baby army for a bit.

Switch to Essence of the Templar, +50% Defense, 45% increase to HP and +60% increase to damage. Deep Templar bumps up to 60/54/72. Still great DPS, but now you are literally a tank.

I'm so gutted I've missed so many streams, but my achievement hunting moves on. I'm mostly working on hunt and gathering achieves, with some mindless crafting ones thrown in. Also banging away at pvp achieves...but that's a loooong term set of goals.

Congrats on the clear and the mount! I recently fought Menenius for the first time and dodged everything perfectly and then died to enrage because I had absolutely dogshit damage output. Then I tried him again and got hit by everything like an idiot. I also failed a Gabriel attempt by not realizing I had no essence active. These things are hard when you let the stress get to you. My achievements this week: - 80 unique Armorer leves and 70 unique crafts as Armorer - Resurrect 200 non-party members (thank you Bozja) - All field notes from Delubrum - 100 Bozja Skirmishes and 1000 fragments appraised - A bunch of Bozja relic progress achievements since I need to keep every step active on at least one job to keep getting progress for them

I gotta say I'm amused you brought up the Ultimate versus Duels comparison because I was watching thinking about the ways they're similar. You know what you need to practice but getting there is about endurance and perseverance.

Yes and no. The way gear syncing works is that whatever stats you have on your gear are considered as capped if they go over the threshold the stat would be at the given max ilvl for the duty. Materia is also ignored for this, so for all intents and purposes your materia doesn't matter once you're synced down. To give you a practical example so it makes more sense: The max ilvl for UCoB is 345, which has a substat cap of 127. This means that any piece of gear with a higher ilvl than 345 will have its substats capped to a maximum of 127 if they go over that threshold. This also makes it so gear that doesn't have both substats over 127 will be categorically worse than ilvl 345, since you'll get synced down, but won't have the benefits of materia to cap the other substat if necessary. Knowing all this, the order of BiS in that scenario would be: Gear that caps both substats once synced down (ilvl 465 and above) > ilvl 345 gear with materia > anything in between. This is also why relics that allow you to put points on substats manually (namely the Bozja weapons) are usually BiS for older Ultimates, since you can fine-tune them to fit UCoB, UWU and TEA substat caps.

I like the mount. Not my favorite but not the worst for me . What I really don't like about it is it plays the Garlemald theme. A Bozja theme would have been much better.

With OBS you can record and stream at the same time. Could you get the local recordings of everything and use those as the stream clips? It'd be a lot more work ofc.

the best part of these field instances is that they're sort of evergreen. with more and more people joining and wanting to grind whatever they need in them since they are so vast versatile; you can be sure there'll be someone in there most of the time... maybe not at expansion launch or busy patches, but there are always "down" moments where people go back to the grind, no worries!

My guys giving the osrs community legend a shout out

as much as i want every achievement in game, i have Parkinsons so cant really play well in choreographed fights so a lot are off my table, however i do wanna get all pvp achievements since there is chaos and button mashing actually works. GL with the 1k wins on a GC in FL, i did one, moving to the 2nd and took ages, with 5 matches daily.

I watch this on my phone. If you hadn't mentioned it I wouldn't know your stream clips are lower quality.

A frustrating alternative to using the stream vods as sources, would be to do a simultaneous local recording of each stream, and then doing housekeeping on a regular basis. Of course this would eat up more resources on your PC, meaning worse game performance - or using a second PC to do the recording and streaming for you.

Haven't watched the video yet since I just clicked on but I think this mount looks really cool personally
