Not giving a crap about an original Jagstang is the most punk rock thing ever.

Umm... He restored the guitar. He made it look as close to original as possible. He removed everything from the guitar that made it look different than the original. Did you even watch the video? How is the restored guitar "the most punk rock thing ever"? How is it more punk rock than what he started with? I need a real punk rocker like you to explain this.

To be honest, i did lokenthe raw original look with the peeled paint and stickers. Just gave it a lot of character. Good restoration though, i just would not have had the heart to remove any of that.

That Jag Stang was just a Minor Threat
It was beautiful when you began. It was beautiful when you finished.
This is what we call a natural relic 👍

"I was just sitting there minding my own bidness, then someone doused me in black finger paint and exposed my metal to an acid - it burned...then they put stickers all over me and more black finger paints. What's weird is, the next morning the person took me all apart and took all of it off again. I guess I made it to yt. I got some camera time in. And everyone thought I was a prized relic of yesteryear, like all the greats that came before me."

Fantastic flip! Love that color. Great job leaving its “patina” intact without the paint and stickers!!!!!
This JagStang cleaned up great...the wear on it looks awesome!
Walk Together, Rock Together is the first punk album I ever heard. Back in 1985.
I wish I could read the product cans. Watching these videos is like meditating with guitars. I can't wait to see the endings.
That guitar has one heck of a tone. Clean ones were beautiful!

To be honest, the Roland Chorus may also be the reason for the beautiful clean tones.
The guitar in this video is the one I used to play in the past. You can listen to its recording on my channel. The guitars I currently use are an SG and a Mustang.

I regret trading mine, for a Craftsman rollaround tool cabinet. Best sounding guitar I've ever had. I think I paid 75 bucks for it. Not going to name who got it, but he is a current Gibson endorser I played with back around 2004.

Just went and listened, very cool stuff-yeah, it definitely has that hi-fi, 3D sound, like an old LP or SG before they went to the T-top pickups. It's a TERRIFIC fusion guitar, too.
i liked the way it looked at the start but i also like the way your gloves sound so i keep watching
I've recently had a lot of success treating rusted chrome parts with rust remover (phosphoric acid). I find this a much better solution that abrasives like polish and wire brush etc. It chemically destroys the rust very quickly and doesn't damage or remove the chrome. Highly recommended.
Since it bears the "MADE IN JAPAN" label, it's a premium Jag-Stang made during the Fujigen era, isn't it?

There were likely only 2 made in 1994. Both were given directly to Cobain himself. The first commercial releases from 95-96, were marked Made in Japan. Later releases were marked Crafted in Japan, more recently, Made in Mexico. The T in the serial number denotes this guitar was made in 1995.
I like how you left the dents and chips and scratches in it to maintain its rough around the edges character. As usual, it looks and sounds great! 端の周りに粗いキャラクターを維持するために、へこみとチップとスクラッチを残した方法が気に入っています。いつものように、見た目も聞こえます!
Not the worst thing you've ever worked on!😄 A buddy of mine has that same Roland amp, sounds great.👍👍
Perfect. Great find! These are not common! Great resto by leaving it original. 🎸
The Minor Threat song was pretty good.
I like the well played patina over the punk junk look . Great job
Wonderful as always
Flawless as always. Nicely done!!!

Beautiful! Loved it!
Looks great. Love the song choices to show it off.
For all those little individual parts like little screws and such, try getting a rock tumbler with fine sand in it. You could toss all those in it and let it run to sand off the rust.
FANTASTIC WORK! Golden Hands! 🎉
I think it would be cool to see you restore a guitar with the grungy punk stickers and/or paint similar to this one and keep as much of the looks as possible.
I love the relic look.
That burning spirits sticker!!
Nice salvage-job! These guitars are quirky things, but sound cool.
Great work, as usual.
The Chisel riff ❤
It was way cooler before
Amazing work! poison idea at the end there too 😎
Love the Slapstick stickers.
I like the design, only reversed so that the longer horn is on the bottom for a right handed player. The thumbnail picture would be a left handed model, short horn on top, long horn on bottom. One of the best shapes I've seen in awhile.
Nice retro piece. Sounds beautiful too.
Nice work - given that poor old thing a new lease of life!
This guitar have a real story behind. Not like one of these brand new "relic" fakes.
Amazing work

I saw a Slapstick sticker the ska/punk band. I saw them live once.
Never would have guessed the JagStangs came with mini pots. Great restoration though.
Your videos are excellent.
That is good work
I spent all of 96-97 going down the street to the music store debating while I made payments for my Mustang or Jag Stang which one I was going to get. It was a real conundrum. They had the red and aqua Jags and white and aqua mustang. My layaway choice kept changing. Someone bought the white mustang (which was the one I probably would have ended up with) but got thr aqua that I still have to this day. It’s color changed in 2005 to black but it is cool as shit still
good job mate!!!!!
Love the Minor Threat!
Oh man can’t believe to see so many people crying over someone’s decision to spray paint and sticker bomb his own guitar… A Kurt Cobain designed guitar!!! I wonder how you’ll feel when you find out what he did to most of his guitars haha
Looking at these restoration, videos is giving me all kinds of ideas. To build my own personal what's the maid guitar that's all I have to say

The tone so beefy
Great job . Also, 7 Seconds is sick
Any plans using an ultrasonic cleaner? It's will help clean special parts especially the bridge plate without getting scratches from the steel brush. Great job as always.
beautiful
I was sad to see the stickers go, but happy to see how it turned out!
Looks like a axe that was used during the punk era in San Francisco. Lots of heroine gel on that neck. I’m posting this pre restoration so haven’t seen the finished restoration. Just sayin’ 😂 always enjoy your work.
My favorite guitar
That's a bummer, the guitar had personality and a great old punk look. I get cleaning it but why get rid of what made it look Kool?
Man this guitar sounds great. The black paint aside, I would’ve loved to see it in this playable condition and still have all the sticker history on it. Another cool project.
Maybe there should be a SPCG we could all support. Society to Prevent Cruelty to Guitars. As much as I enjoy the restoration videos.
That's actually a rare fender model
Pretty nice shirt, dude!
nice Curt Cobain guitar..yeah, old hard plasic stickers are a real PITA on guitars..you really need a good ventilation for all that solvents, they can also make your pickguards warp
Seguo molto volentieri e spesso i video di questo canale , il tuo Lavoro è eccellente complimenti , ma mi chiedo anche come si fa a ridurre uno strumento in queste condizioni così disastrose 😂
plastic bomb!!いい感じですなぁ。
Ahh i have a blue one that I've had from new. Early 2000s. It's so playable with the short neck. Those pickup selector switches were a health hazard though. Used to put white insulation tape over them when playing a gig. Nice job!
The mojo is still there. Good job.
Cobain would have loved that one!
If the pickguard, pickups & knobs where left untouched & the project wasnt rushed by the previous owner then it would have been a cool guitar.
Killed that fcking demo at the end amazing sound
much prefer the guitar at the start, that is beautiful wear and tear..
Damn that punk look was awesome
Hello Friend, I know some might argue, but I prefer this Fender Jagstang in its original look rather than the ugly garbage punk one. That gives this guitar a vintage worn out look. And as always, excellent restoration. thank you for this nice video Man !
drop kick Murphys are a good punk band ngl
seeing that guitar like that, hurt me.
Hope you do more bass guitars videos

Lovely work once more. Btw, does anyone know what was the first tune he played on the guitar?
The Jag-Stang ... Kurt Cobains monstrosity of a guitar.
I really like the restore without repainting it, but is there anything you can do to the back of the neck to smooth it out? Seems like it would hurt you're hand when playing it.
