How do i use it for Airsoft if i meed to mount to helmet, any tips? Edit: for the thumb pro w

the thing with the helmet camera that the forwards/backwards switch for recording which seems very intuitive because you'd do it with the same motion as putting on and removing the helmet. the button on the thumb is not the same as you'll always wonder whether it's on or not, as the motion to turn on is the same as the one to turn off. (which is fine for a handheld camera but maybe not so great on a helmet)

also the thumb isn't waterproof, right? is it holding up fine in rain?

That's correct the thumb Pro isn't waterproof, so I have to put it away when it starts to rain. It has held up with a little light rain though. I have the Thumb Pro set to auto record, and the light is bright enough for me to see in my mirror.

how terrible an idea would mounting the camera inside the helmet be?@@StasWright maybe to the side with some of the helmet padding modified a little bit? must be possible to put it somewhere where it's barely in the field of vision but still sees out through the visor

How much will the camera's recording capacity be at maximum quality without it heating up and turning off? in time

How do you attach the thumb pro and a battery?

For the Camera I use Gorilla double stick tape. The battery sits in the inside pocket in my jacket.

The Runcam helmet doesn't keep gyro data, so no Gyroflow.
