This show always exposes so many tragic stories that make me cry. Sometimes I guess you're just out of luck even though you were on the right path to your dreams. His voice seems oerfect for a drama OST and I really hope he makes it as a ballad singer.

He actually signed with Million Market in 2018 not long after appearing on ICSYV. Chae Eon has several releases out, including Hold Me (duet with John Park), Like a Flower (there is an MV promoted by SM, which is part owner of Million Market), and Memory is a Miracle (from the Devilish Charm OST)

There are a lot of Kpop singers who debuted as an idol but didn't last long. When i first watched this, i realized that "wow! Kpop Industry is like a jungle. You really have to work hard for you to become big and be able to survive." This is also the same reasons why a lot of singers engage into variety world to still be part of the industry even though their group disbanded or their contract with the company ended. This is why some singers became actors and actresses. Some became tv hosts and MCs. But there are a lot of singers out there who is still unknown to the public or the public didn't really paid much attention to the artist resulting to the agency dropping them off the hook. I am so happy to see them being able to perform again even though it would last a couple of minutes, the singers or ex idols can perform again on stage.

I really like this sincere singer and this song by himself as well. I keep on wishing him all the best as a singer for the future.
