    I feel like to furnish a round room you should do the opposite of what you would do for a rectangular room. Instead of having pathways through the centre and furniture against the wall, make the pathway around the edge with furniture centred. E.g. in the bedroom the bed can be in the middle with a dresser or vanity table against the bedhead. You could even use the chest from Werewolves and the end of the bed as the dresser. Kitchen could be all in a centre island that’s rounded or oval

  • @andrewmoeller1987
    @andrewmoeller19872 жыл бұрын

    I've played around with circular walls, and yeah, they're very glitchy. If you have two floors, it's even tougher to place things on the first floor walls. Oftentimes they pop up to the top, where they cannot be placed. Most of the time you have to place items with walls either cut away, or completely down. Placing shelves on interior 1st floor flat walls (if there is a 2nd floor) is sometimes just not possible. Also, the square section in the middle of a round room on the second floor with have thin lines through it, that no rug can cover over. The curved walls are fun to play around with, but they need work. Now to hope more work will be done to get them to work right. But we all know how they didn't do much more with "off the grid." So there might not be much hope for a fix.

    Best part of watching this guy is when he's looking through all of the other items and is like "Ah, battoo!" And then tries to find a reason to use that item. Battoo might not be the best of the dlc but it's very underrated and I'm glad my man's here appreciates the good qualities of the pack but still respects everyone's (wrong) opinions :)

    I want you to rebuilding old sims 4 builds and see how you can do them differently with the new updates the game has had over the years. Like the pond house or the mountain house.

    This is unfairly good. When he first placed the rooms I thought it was going to be a disaster but then it became really nice and I don’t know how

    Wow, I was NOT expecting this house to be so stunning??? Ignoring the visual glitches, everything looks so good and crisp! Can’t wait to see more uses of circle walls!

    You inspired me to make a house with curved walls too! greetings from the Netherlands

    There’s a house where I live that’s called the wedding cake house and it’s three stories tall with the front being circular. It would be cool to see it recreated, though I don’t think there are any pictures of the indoors, nor that it would be any easy to do it on the times.

    I'm surprised after you figured out the fire pit outside, you missed the opportunity for a conversation pit in the living room.

    No offense but I am shocked by how well it turned out! This looks amazing!! I too was prepared for it to be a joke build but jokes on me now

    This would make for a fun interior design challange. I think the key to living in a round house is to not place things against the wall. I just want to rip all those cabinets off the wall!

    If anyone can do a really good round house build with these glitchy round rooms/walls, it's James.

    The fact you went ahead and made a home of different circle rooms instead of just making a lighthouse is so amusing to me XD

    This actually looks like something from Architectural Digest, it looks so good! Very different to any run-of-the-mill sims builds but interesting all the same 😊

    I'm surprised you didn't use a set of curved kitchen island counters in the kitchen! Would've been very on brand. Great job as always

    JAMES!!!!!! I tried to build with curves and it was literal hell. I'm in awe that you could make this building possible in the first place. You are GREAT.
