    Man, you just sent me way back with the outro and the "Philadelphia Get to Know Us." I don't think I heard that since I was a kid, and I completely forgot about it.

    I forgot about the Hooter's boat. I was never on it. I did go to the Hooter's that was at Franklin Mills Mall back in the early 90s. It is now a Vietnamese Food restaraunt called Pho Nam Giang.

    I lived in South Jersey and used to go to penns landing when the artist played on an old type sailing ship called the Gizella Premiera or something like that. But that.was 50 years ago. Dang I'm old ! Love your vids though . Does bring back some memories.

    Stopped at Hooters a few times in the 90s. I remember Egypt (THINK that was Spring Garden & Delaware Ave?)..ehh. went there once, I wasnt a club guy either. But damn..hearing that tune "Philadelphia....." I immediately knew the lyrics coming next - "get to know us!" My God, I haven't heard that jingle in decades!

    Great video. You're right. I remember many years ago there were a couple of clubs and not much else on Delaware avenue. I guess that was before the big buildup.

    Wow!!!!! Way back in my DJ days, I used to live in Wilkes-Barre, and my ex lived in norristown, i spun a couple of times at Gotham Night club at Delaware and Brown streets. And it was a club called Vegas further down that used to be a hood nightmare lol. But all the eagles and sixers hung out at Gotham, as a matter of fact i got into a tussle one night with Ricky Watters and Chris T. Jones 😂

    The Duck Boat got hit by a tug boat? Okay, I have to say it...only in Philly. What a damn waste. Does anyone want the city to work again? 😥😖

  • @cheezst8ke

    @cheezst8ke

    Yep. The tug boat didn't see the Duck Boat and ran right in to it pushing it under the tug boat and the duck boat started sinking with the people still on it. There was some kind of radio communication problem between the tug boat and the duck boat.
