I think a lot of pc builders do an overhead rig that hangs from the ceiling. Or have a tripod that doesn't touch the table.

I was thinking the same thing as I read a lot of the cards!

Mikazuki no yaiba (三日月の刃) translates to "Crescent Moon's Blade" if anyone was curious. With Makazuki 三日月 being "three day moon/cresent moon" and yaiba 刃 meaning "blade". "No" (の) is just a particle put after a noun to denote ownership of what comes after it. Guess my years of learning Japanese in school was useful for aomething I suppose 😅😂

I liked the pacing of this. Starting out kinda slow to discover all the new cards, then speeding up after like half the box until a new card is discovered. I think occasionally reading the full effects was a nice touch that kept this more varied than just speed-opening packs, too. Love getting to admire the artwork on the cards as well (your camera is crazy!!), that was always my favorite part of getting new cards. Great video!

The Tantrum Toddler being a Beast type got me xD and also the new Ragnaraika cards are great support for my beetrooper, traptrix and naturia decks, hope they add them to master duel soon

I'm praying it is too. But it's not looking great for the Yugi deck since it doesn't play well with the extra deck (and modern yugioh is alllllll about the extra deck, it should honestly be called main deck now. And main deck is extra deck)

It's actually pretty solid. Not like "win a YCS" level good, but from my bit of early testing it can hold its own in the Tier 2-3 realm. Also gets even more support next set!

@@apsamplifier yeah that's very true at least. The cost is a bit unfortunate though. Even if you go super budget (2 shining sarcophagus, 2 gadget, 2 silent magician, 2 silent swordsman, 1 Gandora and 2 of each of the archtype support spells.) Those 16-17 cards cards for a budget version of the deck is still over $120 (after taxes). Not returning player friendly at all and it's enough to even make (probably) 90% of still playing old school fans like me pause. Granted I pulled the 90% with no basis. But $120+ for a BUDGET variant. Is no joke

@@mrbubbles6468 That's what I said in my first comment. The Yugi deck doesn't play well with the extra deck. Which effectively, does make it unique. But it also makes it a hard cap on the decks ceiling. So it's a good functional deck. But as Team APS said. Unless it gets quite a few absolutely broken support. It's essentially stuck in the the tier 2-3 range. Since the decks that can go to the extra deck ridiculously easily is for better or worst. What modern Yu-Gi-Oh is all about

I love this pack opening. I dont wanna see people open packs not caring about anything but just the foils and how each one is selling for. I just want to see the new cards and hear the opinion of someone that wanna play them

Centurion support is awesome and allows you to play under shifter if you want to side it. Have to be careful with the field spell since it sends to grave for cost to place. Tenpai is the archetype to build from this set, but Yubel support is key when Fiendsmith comes out next format. Fiend turbo puts up a crazy board with 6 interrupts. Varudras (Rank 10 omni), High Caesar, Soul of Rage, new Yubel fusion, eternal favourite, plus handtraps.

I really hope we see you guys makes decks based off the final duel between yugi and atem with modern versions of their cards and duel

God I love the look of the Ashened cards, I always have the issue of wanting to build just about everything but the Ashened are def at the top of my list, they give me Dark Souls vibes,

That Mika-zaiba dragon thing is a retrain of a vanilla dragon that was used in some of the video games but I don’t think it’s ever been printed in the TCG

I am waiting on the box I pre-ordered. Can't wait to crack some packs

The Yugi deck will get alot better when the Ebon Sorcerer gets released in TCG. You can splash Red-eyes Dragoon as the Ebon Sorcerer can search for Secrets of Dark Magic. Attack with both Gandora and the Sorcerer then fuse them into Dragoon for a possible OTK.

How does it fare? I noticed a lot of the cards had pretty involved effects, which tends to translate well!

I do like this set, it feels like og sets for the early 2000’s where all the competitive cards were fairly low rarity and all the anime cards were the higher rarity, means that people can play competitive if they want to more budget friendly

Most of the competative cards were high rarity. We just quicklu got a billion starter decks that reprinted them into the ground

@@mrbubbles6468 nah seriously if you look at most of the older packs, excluding ioc, most of the competitive cards were at most super or the occasional ultra. This was especially the case during the gx era. Though you are right we did get loads of reprints in starter decks.

The only cards I want are the lightsworns and wightlord. But mainly wightlord

I want these ancient gear cards but that’s about it :( got 3 of the 4 pack boxes and no ancient gear golem

I used to defend or explain the 25th anniversary but now I got no damn clue how long this thing is gonna last 🤷🏾‍♂️ BUT this was the last set for Magician of Bonds and Unity. Then Infinite Forbidden has a Dragon of Pride and Soul, sorta like Blue-Eyes reimagined. So 4 more sets?? Both cards were shown in the Animation Chronicle video (right after Albaz). Technically this is all Series 12, starting with Duelist Nexus. There's 12 core sets per Series. 4 bonds, 4 pride, and then 4 more with a Red-eyes like card ??? 25th anniversary lasting 3 yrs 😂

🤔 if I were to build a deck using only cards from this set I honestly have to go with Ancient Gears 😅

@@PdR1. More than just a banlist. Master Duel is Best of 1 which means no side deck. Certain strategies can perform better because you can't side counters. There is also Maxx "C" which is so impactful alone that its existence influences the banlists for TCG and OCG

The game play is the same if that's what you are asking. The banlist is different thou so strategies are different. The rulings are the same in master duel and in IRL, you don't need a judge in master duel to make a call since the computer does it for you.

How is this going to help Yugioh deck?
