8:22 if you are wondering how did that happen, the thwomp got was spawnblocked by the flip-blocks, so when those are flipped, the thwomp can spawn if the place is unloaded and loaded again (by walking away and back in)

Troll levels are so fun. I just love them so much. Nothing like having a good super expert run only for a DGR troll level to come up. No but for real though, Nintendo needs to somehow create a special category for levels like this.

I would love to see a DGR VS Fletty Series

What happened at 8:22 was the thwomp was in the same area as the blocks, but couldn’t spawn because the blocks where in the way. But when you hit the blocks they lost there hit box, so when you ran to the left you went just far enough to make the thwomp spawn when you went back. Ceave Gaming has a great video on this along with other amazing Mario maker mechanics.

Hey DGR: The pipes in the overworld and the subworld that connect to each other NEVER need to have the same color. The color of a pipe shows how fast enemies will spawn out of them.

The bit with the thwomp why is caused from spawn blocking, when the tiles are stationary they prevent thwomp from spawning, but when they’re rotating then they’re not counted as there so when you move the screen past that point and back, the thwomp can spawn. Thank Ceave for the explanation, I’ve Learned most of the things I know about both Mario makers from his videos

Basic SMM Collision Crash Course 101: When Mario hit the p-blocks, they start spinning, but they also lose the properties that make them solid. Basically, they stop being an object for a few seconds. That is what allows the Thwomp to spawn. It's the same with powerups and 1-ups. They have no collision except for the if-then statement that makes mario be powered up.

The Thwomp appearing when you did that is done by reloading an area where something blocking an enemy or item is gone. For example: If you put a Red Block covering an item, then hit a on/off block outside of the normal loading zone of the red block and item, the item will spawn. The trick can be done with any two state block or destructable block.

8:30 dude, it's just spawn-blocking. One of the most well known mechanics. The blocks are preventing Twomp from spawning. But, while the blocks are spinning, they Twomp can spawn. You've probably already dealt with this thing hundreds of times in the Trolled series, and you still got confused by it? Classic DGR 🤣

I called spawn blocking. It is were you can’t spawn things in if there is a block over it. The thwamp was under the block, but when you flipped it, it could spawn but it had to be offscreen for it to spawn.

Those shades will help me with my SMM performance!
