So happy to see you have your 390 back! Looks like some fun trails to go rip. Look forward to your next video so we can hear about all of the mods.

I was riding with a buddy. We went down a ROCKY road (big rocks in the soil) and he bent the cast wheel on his 390. We were all happy that it didn’t crack or blow the tire but it was a close one for sure. On another note, you need more sun bro! It plays a big role in overall health.

Great video but sir, had to turn up volume to hear you what little I could over the engine noise I don’t know if you know it but you were competing with the engine, so I was hard to understand you. but the scenery was OK. It was a nice smooth trail. Thank you, sir for the great video.

Thank you! The trails in the US's PNW really are amazing. Though I've heard the parts of the TET in France are really great, and also there's apparently a really cool offroad route, outside of Luxembourg, that runs along the Maginot line? Have you been on either of those? Also yes, still on the same set of Motoz Rallz, not being able to ride for 6 months really goofed up my filming schedule and now I am working on finding the time and making room in my production schedule to put together a final review which will be out later this year on those tires.

I've ridden a bit on the TET but the weather has slowed me down (quite cold and wet at the moment + TCK70). I'm really not far from the Maginot Line but I haven't heard of this route. I need to find out more about it, it interests me a lot!@@FreeTimeAdventures

The kit is by Tusk, you can get it from Rocky Mountain ATV. For a full breakdown on the build, see my latest video. I cover every part and accessory currently installed and the cost.

How is the 390 off road? Like how hard would it be for an old newbie like me to keep it in the right Rev range? I was thinking of waiting for the new 25's to come out with the new engine but the dealerships are offering crazy prices, 6k probably just under 7k out the door, on the 23' 390 Adv spoke wheels.

My honest take is that as far as small adventure bikes go, it's pretty great and I wouldn't really be too worried about things, like keeping it in a specific rev range. It makes good power and is fairly resistant to stalling. Especially if you put a Fuel-X Lite on. The suspension is about the best you can get from a factory small displacement adventure bike as well. That said, no adventure bike is going to be as easy to learn offroad riding as a small dualsport or dirbike would be. If you're dead set on an adventure bike, I would highly recommend the current gen of 390's, especially since the aftermarket is plentiful for them already. You may also look into the new RE Himalayan 450, it's a bit heavier, but it has a lower seat and more ground clearance with about the same power, but the advantage of an 18/21 wheel combo and optional spoked tubeless rims.

@FreeTimeAdventures I have a Himalayan 411 now and a really like it but even with mods it's pretty slow and a little heavy. I am thinking about the new Himalayan 450 and the new 390 Adv. Thanks for the advice.

In this video specifically, it looks like the fastest I get up to is 22mph, but generally, I'm bobbling around between 7 and 17mph.
