I BUILT MY GHANA HOME AT 27YRS WHILE IN AMERICA AND NOW I HAVE MOVED TO GHANA
#movetoghana #lifeinghana #livinginghana #buyahouseinghana #movefromamericatoghana
In the mid-1950s, there began a new era in which African Americans began to migrate to Ghana as a result of its independence. African Americans, especially civil rights activists such as W. E. B. Du Bois and Julian Bond, went to Ghana to aid the country's development and escape the racism of the United States.
In this video, I share the story of Rush, who relocated from America to Ghana after being in the USA for so long.
He built his 4 bedroom home while still living in America. He is currently running a number of businesses in Ghana and lives here with his wife.
In this video we discuss what it takes to move to Ghana, what he did to build a home, some of the challenges he has been through all while settling in Ghana.
We also get to do a tour of his beautiful Ghana home.

Congratulations to him. At age 28, I built my first house in Ghana for my mom whiles I’m in the USA and I’m 31 now and now have my 3 beautiful houses there. Hope to retire at age 35 and just go home to enjoy the fruit of my labor. Already tired of working

The journey of those from the Diaspora that choose to return to Africa is very inspirational and gives a sense of pride and longing to some of us viewing these individuals taking that leap! The Diaspora however isn't only African Americans or Canadians..I've travelled extensively and met African descendants everywhere on this planet..I've encountered African descendants that was born in places like India, China, Europe, the Caribbean and even Scandinavian countries.. It would be fantastic if you highlight people of the Diaspora from those countries who decided to return to Africa as well.. Maybe! Their journey might encourage others to take that leap as well..

Actually a lot of Caribbean success videos are plenty on various channels! Majority of the African diaspora from the USA 🇺🇸 in Africa are of Caribbean immigrants or first generation. That said, agree with you. If you watch migrants around the globe it’s usually the middle class so those in countries you highlight might not have the resources to do so. I am pretty sure these KZreadrs are not colluding/refusing to interview them 😂 and opting for those from the west

For a lot of people, education has trained them to look for employment instead of creating opportunities. The key is to FIND OPPORTUNITIES , find CAPITAL and set up different REVENUE STREAMS.

I love it when young Africans do such things. I am a young indigenous South African living in the US, single and planning to build a home, find an African wife and enjoy life. I am conflicted as to which country to settle in, at the top of the list I have Kenya, Ghana, then South Africa. I have already finished building a house at my late father and my late mother's place just for when I visit.

It needs a 2nd job for family maintenance abroad. Maintaining them from one pay check will drain a person. Plus never give more than is required because you have to keep increasing it. If you can sponsor siblings do it quickly to take them off your maintenance. If they have skills advice them to utilize those skills to earn money there. The objective is to get them financially independent of you.
