Here are a few pointers if you’d like to make your own: • Be sure you use a big enough tank. Axolotls require at least 20 gallon aquariums. In this video, I went with a 60 gallon cube, but for a long term setup I’d recommend a bookshelf style (long) aquarium • Use food safe (and therefore fish safe) materials. GE Silicone I is a common product used in fishkeeping since it’s fish safe once cured (fully dry). This is my go to glue for my projects • Avoid sharp edges on your Minecraft blocks. I took the extra step to sand and smooth each block in my axolotl’s tank. This will help protect their delicate skin and keep them safe • Make sure you cycle your aquarium. This process can take between 2-4 weeks, sometimes even longer, so it’s important to test your water parameters before welcoming your friend to their new home • Be creative and have fun!! Did u make plans on how to deal with the changing water conditions from the marble countertop eroding over time? I think that type of stone isn’t commonly regarded as aquarium safe just cause it releases stuff into the water.

she definitely didnt keep that fish in there, or at least long enough for the rock to erode . these types of tanks are just for content they dont normally become permanent

ye especially since she cut it up, which would increase the surface area if theres gaps between blocks , and also means there was definitely some dust from the blocks in the water

I love how you spend all of this money for us, your subscribers. You always over come the challenges in these aquarium builds. If there is something that you can’t do, you figure out a way to do it. Keep up the great work. I think the Axolotls name should be crackers or copper because it matches butters.

This is cool and all, but axolotls have delicate skin and the sharp edges of the cubes could possibly cause wounds, not to mention the fact they love dark areas and you didn't add any caves. Make a safer tank next time.

I wonder what the inside of your brain is like. A hamster running on a wheel. You never seem to run out of ideas. The minecraft aquarium looks amazing! I love the hanging plants. I wonder if you could add a creature that can climb around on the blocks that are outside of water? Nerite snails like to be out of the water a lot, and then they go back in when they are ready. Of course, you'd need to keep the surfaces wet for them. Maybe there would already be enough condensation to do it for you? But I don't know if the axolotl would be compatible with the nerite.
