I built an entire city for one person in Cities Skylines (City Skyline), a single house hold is all there is- can my city thrive with a population of 1?

I think it's so cool that he lets his 5 year old kid play this game and then just adds some voice over afterwards. Kids have such crazy imagination, like no adult could ever play or build like this.
"I tend to end up hurting my citizen when I try to look after them" "I'm gonna redeem myself" *Immedietly builds a 90 degree Wall Bridge that leads into the torture bridge.*
Less than 5 minutes in, and RCE already demonstrated he still doesn't know how the game works. Quite impressive, given the time he spends with it 😅
9:57 Yep! Dig a hole about a mile deep, dig some tunnels off of it, line it with concrete, and call it a day. Bonus points if you reuse an abandoned mine. Ideally, we would use breeder reactors to recycle as much as 95% of the nuclear waste, but I do not think the game lets you do that.

The slow transformation of Matt into a clueless supervillain who traps a single family in a radioactive death Monotopia, starves them for weeks with no food until the parents die, desperately tries to make the children "happy" in an empty town full of empty buildings filled with AI teachers, AI bus drivers, and AI garbage men.

"Water is freshest from the mountains" The people who actually live in the mountains drinking their rock-filled calcified cave water: "actually we haul water"
This kinda got me thinking, imagine going through any major city and youre the only life there. Now i dont me like in a apocalypse type of way either. I mean like all the buildings are in pristine condition, no abandoned cars in the streets, no trash on the sidewalks and all the stores fully stocked and all the clothes are neatly folded in place and all the food is properly stored on the selves and all of it has fresh dates on them. That would be so bizarre to experience!
If I was a Billionaire I'd have a home like this.

could be fun to do a miniature city with only single tile buildings
MAKE “THE GAME OF LIFE” IN CITY SKYLINES!!! One way streets, starting with a giant living area, followed by schools, a working area commercial, industry etc, inevitably ending with the elderly home and cemetery. Throw a couple bridges in between to make it exciting.
“I’m going to redeem myself!” *yeets gigantic meteor at city*

I would die trying to maintain all the equipment..... Imagine being responsible for all those buildings maintenance.
This kind of city layout should be incorporated into Enginetopia because it is an engineering marvel.
I did this once when I was younger. I was curious as to where they worked. They all worked in the prison as security guards. There was no detained criminals. Until there was. I cant imagine the conversation back home
it would be a cool challenge to see how many shops and stuff you can run with just one High rise building. How many people can fit in one building?
RCE is slowly evolving into Let’s Game It Out
I feel sorry for this citizen. They probably sought solitude and were happy to live without any neighbours. And then there's all the effing traffic passing their house, even all these empty busses.

This is actually a good earie horror movie plot. One family moves to a town were they are actually the only people who are living normally and the others are just like autonomous lump of meat an AI who are just program to serve the one family. Ofcourse this AI people looks like a normal human beings, so every day the family sees some glitch in the system and suspects their actual world
I really want to see rce colab with city planner plays and have him try and have engitopia have no warning signs anymore😂

I can't remember if hotels are in city skylines but you could of had the hotels open and maybe the commercial wouldn't get abondanded? Also it would have been funny trying to see the one guy try to take care of a busy tourist town by themselves.

"an exciting bridge"?? that is something only an architect would say 😂
This looks like some fine architecture work RCE, maybe one day you'll become an engineer.
2:20 fun fact, radiation is higher around coal power plants than nuclear due to uranium contamination in coal and much more lax regulations
"Hello, it's Matt, and welcome to Let's engineer it out"
My favorite anarchy mod is the one on the editors. Complete editor autonomy FTW
“Ah what do you you do with nuclear waste? You just did a big hole and forget about it!” -literally every government
Keep up the good work! Thanks for another great vid rce!
Making sure the single house has a nice view and proceeds to hide civil engineering infrastructure. Sounds a lot like something an architect would do.
That bridge is a masterpiece.

"You'd enjoy it a lot more if you just turned your head to the right a little" -RCE 2023
There could be a lore around this map like how one man with no demands or any thing, doesn't even have a teacher... He had to teach himself from the library books and utilise his theories in practicals in the institutions... And eventually he works in a nuclear power plant... He thought he will be alone but the creator developed things around his house and that attracts the tourists... And now he is interacting with other people and finally starting a family... And eventually his children will go to the same school, college and University as him and they move out of his house eventually... Afterwards his wife died he buried his wife in the cemetery and becoming all alone again and waiting for death... He died on a sunny Sunday by meteor fall...
I would like to add that that bridge is a marvel of architecture
As soon as i realised your man wasn't just working in a shop, i realised this guy must be the greatest time keeper and multitasker EVER
