Personally, I just paint the walls in my sims' houses just plain white, mostly because I don't care, but also because they don't have super great wallpapers.

I can't stand white walls As a kid whenever I saw white walls I'd draw all over them And my need to have not-white walls kinda bleeds into my Sims builds If I use plain white wallpaper, I make sure there's stuff on every wall It's exhausting 😂

When you described the "inspired" method, I was like, but that just how I normally build. I pick a main color, an accent color and a wood tone.

Stairway placement is my most common struggle in small houses. I’m considering starting to place stairs before I do anything else. My layouts are atrocious.

Could you make a tutorial on how to roof second floors/"hide" second floors in rooves? I tried that recently with my legacy house and ended up with a two floor monstrosity on stilts.

Yeah like they'll say a bathroom they put in a build is small & I'm like no, that's a very normal sized bathroom here in the UK.

Yellow is my favorite color of house and teal is my second favorite. They are just such nice happy colors and compliment trim, a lot of different door colors and flower colors so well. Gives a house such character too.

When I start to decorate my houses, I ALWAYS put on white wallpaper and a basic wood floor first. It works for me so well.

What I do with laundry, is I have one hamper in the laundry room beside the washing machine. That’s realistic for real life, but it’s also suuuper easy to do laundry in the game because you don’t have to worry about going around collecting it. It all goes to that one hamper and makes gameplay super easy.

honestly? I think saving the walls for last is the play. it allows you to color coordinate the furniture within the space without trying to design around a wall color. having the floors in allows you to still have a base aesthetic for you to build a look from. I started doing it in my builds and I found I actually pay more attention to how the furniture in the room interacts which leads to better builds in the end! :)

From an entertainment standpoint, I always love watching the builds where you use all the packs! I appreciate the balance (and thoughtfulness) of including limited pack builds but please don’t stop doing these!

I love that she also makes little stories for her builds bc my bf thinks I’m weird when I do it and I’m like “It helps!”

As someone who does not own many packs, I love that you mix it up! Because limited pack builds allow more downloadability for more people, but variety builds can be fun to watch to see items we don’t get to play with used and help us decide if we might want to buy that pack. Thanks for keeping us in mind simsie ❤️

Hey kayla I absolutely love your videos I have a series idea So you could do a house for every pack (base game and get to work as the first one ) ect ect

"Sims are going to sit down at your desk and use your computer anyway." Not if you use the computer security that only allows the household to use the computer; which I always do. Love the build, very nice!

I worked in a toy store for like a year and peppa invaded my life too. everywhere I went, peppa was there. I had to stare at her everyday at work. Anyway some of the mini playsets are actually really cute (like the ice cream van and the petting zoo) so it could actually be a fun/cute challenge to try and recreate some of those in ts4

I really like the yellow counters with the white upper cabinets 👌🏻
