I really love lisimsie's blue suburban houses, but I think it would be so fun if simsie used a random pack generator that would generate 1 expansion pack, 1 game pack, 1 stuff pack and 1 kit pack. It would be so cool to see how she'd decorate a house using random packs.

Honestly, I love your blue suburbans, the thing I'm usually less a fan of is the "on a budget/basegame" aspect of some of them. It tends to be slightly too repetitive which is a shame 'cause Simsie KNOWS how to build very cool houses with no pack restrictions and no budget restrictions.

I was saying this all last year. So many people complained about her base game builds, often very unfairly, but the problem isn't the base game, it's pairing base game with a budget, because base game is SO expensive. I've done quite a few "use all the pack" builds and then did a base game version and the base game version was always considerably more expensive. Kayla can make very nice base game houses...when she doesn't budget restrict, which I think she did a bit too often last year and was why so many people were complaining in the comments.

She’s actually done student housing many times, and has been doing lots of smaller apartments lately.

I actually like the blue suburban look, it’s just that she always makes them cheap and uses the same furniture. It’ll be nice to see a blue suburban with no budget or different packs. It feels like I’m watching a video I’ve already seen just a different layout.

Yeah exactly. It feels like no fun seeing the exact same furniture picked out all the time with the base game/low budget starter trend she does. I don't often care to download many houses that sims youtubers make, I more so come here to enjoy watching their creativity and unique building styles. I would love to see more cute, family suburbans with no budget and no pack restrictions!

I second or third this! As much as I love base game for easy access (I'm lazy and it's nice I can just drop them somewhere for a family I'm not directly playing without worrying about if I visit and stuff is deleted), I'd love to see some blue suburbans that are all packs and no budget. I'm grateful she has a ton of base game and she does give herself free reign or less limitations but I feel like it's an unnecessary restriction, especially since she's used all the swatches so much! It's also nice seeing her open up and add more orange and red for example lol.

@@DoveJS I know she like to build them but at this point she already have thousands of blue suburban base game houses. She could at least add some packs because these base game houses look almost the same. That big apartment she was building was looking great, much better than any blue house.

You should try to make a blue suburban without base game, because that's your go-to for blue suburbans.

I would like to see you build a base game house using items you NEVER use! You always use the same thing over and over and over again.

this blue suburban is honestly already different than her typical ones by a bit and it’s fun how branching out made her try to branch out even in blue suburbans.

Simsie should make a blue suburban shell challenge where she obviously makes just the shell and has it already sided blue.

Oooh you know what would be fun? Building a house for Wednesday Addams! And then you can do the opposite, building a house for Barbie - just in time for the new movie! You could even make a series out of it, building houses for fictional characters. I hope you consider it, it would be so fun! 😍

I have no problem with a blue suburban, they're fun!.But you addressed the problem when you said "trying to build base game and usd a budget means they all look the same" which is true!! You have all the packs, just use them. It's not as fun when you restrict both the packs and the budget everytime, and the houses would look different if you allowed yourself more options.

Maybe you could try some traditional houses from other cultures and countries? Like your blue suburban is not anywhere in The Netherlands, it's all brick houses with large windows and orange or black shingles. Might be fun to try sometime!

I think you should embrace the blue suburban joke. I don't think anyone minds blue suburbans as a concept, people just don't like the same basegame furniture every time. Blue suburban trolls with super modern furniture inside, or everything being literally blue, or being one pack only would be fun.

i come from the land of blue suburbans. They’re EVERYWHERE where i live. girlie you make like the most beautiful blue suburbans omg. (edit): i’d also like to add that houses like these really feel like home to me. you always see these like big mansions and modern builds but like for someone with autism it’s really nice to see something your used to. I do love modern builds, but there’s something so comforting about a blue & beige suburban. :) i’ve lived in houses like these all my life and they’re so cozy and homey. 10/10 recommend. i think my house is probably lilsimsies dream house lol. I live in a cozy lil bungalow built in the 20’s with original hardwood floors, original wooden accents and lots of nice suburban feels. unfortunately it’s not blue lol. ❤ ALSO: houses like these are usually a lot smaller than this. it would be really cool to see simsie make one more realistic to the american suburb areas. :) my bathroom is really tiny, you can barely fit the essentials in there lol. and there’s only one. like you just KNOW these are those rich neighbors with the annoying kids lmao. Poverty is pretty common here.

you see a lot of those big multistory family homes here in the PNW, but they're often like, embedded in a hill somehow because nothing is flat here! so you get a house like this but the first story is actually downstairs because the way the terrain worked they had to sink the entire thing to make it fit with the road, for example. My dad grew up in a house sort of like that and for me if you knew anybody who was middle class or higher as a kid this is the sort of house they had! They're very sturdy when it's windy and rainy.

Pretty new here, wondering if lilsimsie has ever done a house without a budget and just her favorite things no matter the price?? If not, I’d really like to see what the result of that would be!

All the pink builds recently were pretty much this. And her legacy family builds. They do have a budget but it's pretty high (100k+) so not really restricted like these builds. I think she just doesn't really enjoy the huge mansion style builds, these smaller family homes are her comfort zone.

i honestly really like watching kayla build blue suburban homes. you can see she feels happy and comfortable with them and i just enjoy watching people do what they love ☺️

I think a fun video idea would be building a house with the same items that simsie always loves and uses, BUT with all the swatches that simsie hates

I love your suburban houses, people complain about the base game and the suburban homes but those are my favorite builds of yours but I do agree I’d like to see some without only base game

The striped rug is one of my favorites. Especially from Base Game. The color swatches make it versatile enough to go in just about any room.

Homes built by developers are similar to this style. Simple, affordable and fast to build. The only thing missing is a 25×25 2 car garage. I hope the new version of The Sims has cars making it more true to life.

The issue everyone has is not with building blue suburbans, it’s the budget, pack restrictions, and overall same layout and furniture. Blue suburban doesn’t mean everything insides the house HAS to be blue, white and brown. People can still download the house if there’s a pack they don’t have, all they have to do is substitute the stuff they don’t have and also there’s so many other base game houses. All the blue suburban houses are base game and it’d be nice to see an unlimited pack blue suburban, and not only base game or a base game + one other pack. I watch Kayla for her, not necessarily what she uploads but it’s just a thought.

While I’m not a fan of the base game only / starter house budget blue suburbans, what I do like is they’re great family homes and great to download and then remodel myself! They have good bones to them. I have a good number of packs and it’s still hard to find houses I can download on the gallery

I would personally like to thank Simsie for her videos on how to use build/buy mode cheats, I never thought that I would need to use them but I started playing sims on laptop when the game went free and she was a life saver

I can't build north american blue sub-urban houses because the houses here look different. I struggle to build houses that fit in the willow creek style, and watching your videos helps me get a hang of it. You really shine when you build these houses that have become a core part of your brand. They help maintain your trademark style. I woud like to see you build a few houses in the Amsterdam channel style--that's what I've been doing.

I stg, people are always going off about how Kayla should build what she wants instead of doing budget or base game builds, but ignore that she LIKES making base game budget builds. I really don't get why people are acting as if she's somehow constraining herself when she has repeatedly said that a lot of the other builds are out of her comfort zone and she LIKES these. Especially bc it isn't as if they can't just skip the video if they don't like it. She has a ton of other videos that you can watch that aren't blue suburbans. She shouldn't have to justify wanting to build one to us.

Honestly, you can make as many blue suburbans which as many packs and as much money as you want, and I would still feel inspired watching your videos. You're so creative and it's amazing!
