Making the world in the shape of the bracket to make the tournament is brilliant You could do a similar thing for developing into an engineering civilization by rewarding developing roads and the like by removing walls for each proper engineer-like development! But regardless, this was a lot of fun, as bracket tourneys pretty much always are 😁 hope the promise of future death tournaments helps bring in the Patreons and ad revenue to get Schmichael off of gruel and onto a bit more filling and wholesome of a food source!

Another interesting twist you could have done - that middle purple box is the spooky biome. When someone dies in the spooky biome, they come back as a skeleton, which then fights anyone who’s alive. I had a case before where one kingdom built their village in a spooky biome. The kingdom to the north of them attacked, and in the battle both armies were completely destroyed. Then suddenly a mass of skeletons the size of two armies rises up, destroys the spooky village, and started making its way to the now-I defended northern kingdom.

Just finished catching up on Timborners and it's interesting to start recognizing some of the names in other videos like recurring characters. Unfortunately, it's mostly things like Ashes as a beaver dying of old age or EGB being a hero pumping their log Thanks for the video!

Atomic destruction after 4000 years of progress... hahaha yeah, luckily this is purely fiction, right? Right?!

@@n.v.9000 The first temples were built over 12k yrs ago; so probs double that 6k yrs of progress. Temples are a good sign of the start of civilization bcuz theyre the first kinds of buildings that were constructed for purposes other than lodging or storing/protecting food.

I'd like to see this go without walls. No holds barred type match. Winner takes all.

I also found this map on the workshop and it's cool to see which ones make it to the top. The kingdom that won inthe end beat the other kingdoms before any other kingdom. I didn't have the debug menu when I did it so at 5x speed it took a few hours to finish where the whole map was one kingdom. I only broke down the walls when every kingdom had a similar number of people and I paused the game.
