Could I make a remark that it would be nice to know if its an early access release or a full release. In the beginning of the video you mentioned it will be fully released, but I assume it`s early access? I think that needs to be distinguished if its EA or full release. Thanks! Else thanks a lot for this video, it`s an interesting game to keep an eye on for sure!
Now we’re just playing satisfactory at the other end of the space elevator 😂

@TotalXclipse the bots in the demo had to have the drone port on the planetoid to collect resources
12:46 @TotalXclipse you have to construct them on the island you want them to drill on
have to say, amazing how you got 2 or 3 days of work compressed into a 15 minute video. To be honest those bots i normally used on planets, to mine and drill resources and then transport them to the ship. never tested them on the ship but that was only because i had a very compact ship.

I think I know what I've been doing wrong with them now 😅 but yeh it was fun trying to squeeze it all together!
This is actually what the space elevator ships too 😂
Looks pretty interesting, hope you post more videos of the game in the future.
The yellow bots that you built are actually miner bots, they work with mines that you place on the planetoids. To move materials between machines you need transport bots.
@haku8135

Apparently not. Everything about the bot system just.... Doesn't work. I tried like SO many things, I had almost a HUNDRED transport bots just sitting in my robot builder, and I couldn't manage to get them to take some ice and just put it another machine. Don't even get me started on the mine, bloody hell these things can FLY why aren't they MOVING!? On top of that, if you put them in your inventory, a VERY natural thing to do, you just lose them forever cause you can no longer interact with them. You can only put them in the recycler which just destroys them, you get nothing back for some reason. So yeah, MAJOR bugs are clearly present. I have a theory it was because I built my robot assembler on a platform higher up than where the rest of my stuff is, BUUUUUUT I built a staircase down to the first floor, and it did absolutely nothing. Stairs and ladders (ladders also did nothing) are the ONLY blocks that allow you to make any kind of incline, there are no ramps. Yeah this game so far has a SERIOUS problem in teaching you how to play. There's only tutorials for a couple things, and for the most part those are useful, but then it gives you a tutorial on building UP which apparently is a really bad idea cause transport bots can't use stairs? I've tried every damn thing I can think of to get these little bastards to DO anything, and they just SIT there uselessly in the machine. This game has a lot of potential, but it still CLEARLY needs some serious work and polish. The belt system is GREAT though, so that's a big plus if nothing else.

@@haku8135 if you built them on the deck expecting them to be on the planet then you made a mistake. it has to be built on or transfered to the planet. Same with the Mine
@haku8135

@@shkamarustorm I built transport bots that specifically told me they move things between things, like ice from storage to water makers, and they sat there doing nothing. On the planet I had miners getting me stuff, and I didn't make any attempt to interact with it outside belting it into my storage on the deck. They simply did not do what the game said they did. In addition, they did nothing at all.

I'll have to check that game of out!
Thank mercy for the solar power at the 12 minute mark. Fearing that this would be 'coal mining in space' for all eternity was already giving me conniptions..
Lol I legit thought it as building a factory in space in satisfactory
It's looking great as usual and it's looks interesting to test the game
Of the not-quite-Satisfactory games out there, this is the first I've seen in a while where I'm kinda tempted to give it a spin.
Looks great. I'd love to see satisfactory in he years to come develop in system mechanics for interplanetary harvesting.
Love your satisfactory builds would also love to see more on this gane!!!
Absolutely more videos btw, much appreciated!
That does look pretty cool.
Literally had me at the brief shot of STARGATE in the tech tree...first colony will now be SG-1
OH COME ON :D i start this game having fun then i come here and you litterally build amazing looking ship :D
That's fancy, I like it.
Nice vid love the game
I had the same problem with the miner bots. You have to either build the robotics lab on the planet or you need to have enough room for them to get to the dock so they can traverse to the mining factory (2 bots each) What an amazing build though.. never thought of putting the wires below.. big brain there. I need more asteroid catchers myself. Really enjoying the game so far.
wat a cool design, i wonder wat other people made of it. i seen the dev. have a enormous factory build, with about 50 or so astro catchers. huge water tanks. and wel designed buildings with farm.. cool game, i bought it as wel ;)..
How do you make the floor panel the same as another color? You got side tracked when you were about to explain it. Just got into this game today and am having a blast!
Would love this to be a big series !!brotherr
As always, your constructions are perfect. But since I finished Satisfactory after 530 hours of play, will this one be different enough for me to buy? Thank you for your advice and I'm waiting for your other videos
I like it please keep playing
looks like a good game. would like a more indepth playthrough
This looks like fun NZ$26 - well worth it.
Wonder if you can automate navigation to pick up resources once you've set up sub-factories in the planetoids.

You can't automate navigation but you can build a control panel where you can control all of your thrusters from one location. It makes traveling a whole lot easier. You can also build more powerful thrusters that will speed up your travels.
Looks like a fun one, i'll have to pick it up when i get paid wednesday!
Is it possible to get a tutorial on being able to build down?
The miners dock to mining stations, but they have to have an uninterrupted walkable path to the ore. People get interrupted by conveyor belts, so do transporters. Your people are hungry, you can feed them booze at the cantina... It's made of Quartz, which you have to get manually, it's next to earth and stone.
This looks way more organized than your first Satisfactory base lol. Cool video. You tube is seducing me again. Is this in EA, or full release?

So far, what do you like in this over Satisfactory, other than being able to bury wires?

I haven't played the game, but just from looking, the whole thing about the game being voxel based feels better imo.
I like how factorio came out and was sucessful and then satisfactory came out and was an absolute SMASH HIT and now factory games are all the rage. But the issue is none of them will have the intensity of factorio or the character and charm of satisfactory.
@Vykk_Draygo
Жыл бұрын
"Character and charm". Not how I would describe Satisfactory. I would say fun, but flawed, and focused almost exclusively on aesthetics. The games that implement voxel systems solve a lot of the issues that I have with Satisfactory. None of them are complete games as of yet, so Satisfactory it is for now. I agree that this game looks mediocre. I'd need to see more footage before deciding. The floating planet chunks is more than a little off-putting.
@james2042

@@Vykk_Draygo Like I said, factorio is a very hardcore factory sim. Satisfactory is meant to be laid back and fun and dumb. Satisfactory has just been giving people what they want which is why its so wildly successful. It sound's like it's not the game for you, which is fine, everyone can like what they like, but calling it flawed with focus almost exclusively on aesthetics is just wrong lol. If anything the game is more about 4 function calculator math than anything

@james what I really dislike about satisfactory is the tedium of putting belts and pipes exactly in the right way so they connect. Having it work like trackmania circuits would feel so much better imo. Like select a building and you can build in air on a grid relative to that. So you could just put your pipe crossing 4 ticks up or something instead of having to juggle around with stackingpoles and temporary fixtures.
Why the holding mouse button down... you did that the other time too.. clicking on the right timing is faster.

To be fair - I've backed the game from Kickstarter. There's also nothing in a sponsored contract that says I need to be positive about the game, my opinions on it, are my own. I came across one minor bug, and didn't understand how drone's worked - hence the clip at the end.
