Exactly.....and a water-line of debris is visible in numerous shots from when the river water was at least several feet higher vertically! I think that yes, he is certainly in a danger zone. I would have opted out on that particular location.

It depends on elevation. Flood zone is in bottom land, if you are on the side of hill it depends on slope. And run off.
