I built a ROOFTOP DECK on my Skoolie E350 | Bus Conversion

Roof Deck is complete!! With (4) cedar 2x6's, (26) cedar 1x4's, a bunch of sand paper and even more patients... This deck is ready for some sun bathing.
Originally I used this orange stain that I was hesitant about, yet painted the whole frame. I called it "trump skin orange". The next day I woke up and sanded it all away and went dark!
Propane weed torch and some dark stain covered up all orange evidence.
This puppy is extremely sturdy. Points of connection: (4) skoolie.com feet AND (4) chunks of wood in the middle. I didnt show you this part but if you've read this far, keep reading. its key for a secure roof. So the edges are secured by the feet, but the "apex" of the roof is only about an inch from the deck frame. So I wedged in a chunk of treated wood with some rubber on the side that touches the bus, and that added a lot more stability. Not sure how well I explained that.... Comment if you have q's on that.
I recently installed the ladder, but it didn't make it into this video. Will show next.
Grizzly work has been taking up a lot of my computer screen time, so I try limiting it in my time off. Therefore my videos are slowing down, but they WILL follow through the whole build!!

I just got this exact same bus with 104,000 original miles for only $5000 which was a old church bus that was recently converted but we definitely want to add a roof deck

Great deal!! Powerstroke 7.3 as well? Roof deck is really fun, but I wish I stained a few more coats to it before installing, because applying stain installed will be tricky to not drip on white roof.
Hey how's the bus going? I'm converting a short bus like yours. Don't know what to do with the door as there's a huge air gap and it's cold out here in Everett, WA
