ABOUT PRISON ARCHITECT
Welcome Wardens!
Only the world’s most ruthless Warden can contain the world’s most ruthless inmates. Design and develop your personalized penitentiary in Prison Architect.
Key Features:
Customized Confinement
Allocate resources to optimize your compound, but don’t restrict the flow of the crowd lest you encounter a flood, fire, fight, or full-blown riot.
Invest and Innovate
Tap federal money with grant applications & direct your funds to combat disease, gang activity, litigation, and more!
Management and Muscle
Ensure your prison is mostly ethical and safe with top-notch staff including armed guards, psychologists, doctors, lawyers and snitches.
Detention by Design
Each prisoner’s criminal history requires custom treatment programs, labor schedules, and reform workshops.
Lockdown Showdown
Attempt a high-stakes escape of your own supermax prison in Escape Mode, or try Online mode to test one of 12,000 player-created prisons. Expand your empire limitlessly in Sandbox mode.
ABOUT PRISON ARCHITECT ISLAND BOUND DLC
Welcome to The Rock, Wardens!
Prison Architect: Island Bound introduces more ways to build and manage your prison with helicopters, ships, and lots of water.
Key Features
Sea and Air
Upgrade your prison’s logistics with a variety of ferry and helicopter transport options that deliver supplies and inmates directly to docking areas around your compound. However, there are also more access points to sneak contraband into the prison.
Chain Link Up
Maximize your prison’s efficiency by linking docks, helipads, and roads to specific deliveries. You can even toggle what services are available to each delivery point within your compound.
Supermax Security
New security objects make it easier to search deliveries and prisoners as they enter the prison, or at key security checkpoints. Additional emergency services can be called when things get out of hand, including Air Firefighters, Elite Ops Teams, and Air Paramedics.
Island Life
Customize your Island or Connected Island Plot with over fifteen nautical tiles and objects. Shape the land around your compound with moats, rivers, and lakes for security, or for style -- no access roads needed!
The Rock
Manage the world’s most famous prison with two premade maps: Alcatraz Prison and Alcatraz Island.

However bad you think it is, it's actually far worse in reality. Let me highlight some stats real quick. The for-profit private prison industry makes roughly $7.6 Billion per year, yet for-profit prisons only house 128,063 prisoners (as of 2018) out of the 1.5 prisoners in the US in total. This means that for-profit prisons make, on average, $59,375 per prisoner every single year their incarcerated. I doubt this even accounts for many of the gov't subsidies these prisons get from the federal government, the reason why they have so many lobbyists working for them in Washington.

The guards are just escorting you through small cell corridors of hell with nothing but a flashlight
"It turns out there's consequences to our actions." Weird. It makes no sense why you can't just ship eleventy-billion prisoners to Piranha Hell Island and keep them alive for all eternity.

Your videos are always worth watching, but this is the best I've seen. Great stuff.

Between the lunacy and Josh’s humor I find these to be absolutely hilarious. A very rare treat for me to laugh so hard that Im almost embarrassed to show it. 🙌🏾
Yeah, Josh is the guy that gave the idea for the producer that filmed "Platform" movie

@@bubbubthealmighty9240 Michael Moore kinda did in his documentary "Where to Invade Next?". In full American fashion, he invades foreign countries and steals something from them...not oil, but ideas. He goes to Italy and steals paid vacation time etc. Goes to France and steals healthy meals in schools. Goes to Germany and steals worker rights and conditions. Goes to Norway and steals their prison system... Great documentary if you ask me :)
